We're finally down to single digits, and it's time to put the Disney packing bin into the dining room. I throw odds and ends into it-- the results of our shampoo/toothpaste Target run, other stuff as I think of it.

Some odds and ends that will be added in the next few days:
- 2 power strips.
- a flashlight, just in case.
- an Ace bandage, just in case.
- A hanging shoe organizer to put in the closet. It takes practically no room in the suitcase, but keeps us organized
- Our Magic Bands, to go into my carryon.
- Printed list of our FPs, ADRs, airline info (to be replaced with boarding passes the day before), resort confirmation number, Garden Grocer order etc. Yes, I know it's on the phone. But I'm old school; I want a paper copy. I put them all into a folder. I also include a map of FL by county. When we were there once for a tropical storm, the warnings came in by county. It was frustrating not knowing where they were in relation to Orlando. Though, again, this was before anyone had an iPhone.
- spray misters. We bring 2 for my family of 5-- the MistyMate individual ones.
- Ponchos
- basic medicine cabinet stuff-- bandaids, Pepto, Tylenol...
- A list of my husband's doctors and phone numbers. He was seriously, scary ill in April. He's fine now, but I want those numbers in writing, in my park bag.
- sunglasses for everyone.

Anytime we fly, I take one entire outfit per person and put it into someone else's suitcase. Should a suitcase make an unexpected detour, we're good for at least a day.

What else am I forgetting?

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. refillable water bottles. and finally, bug repellent. OFF brand use to make wipes you could carry with you. I've used them several times while in the parks/hotel grounds and they work great.
Have a great time.

Thanks.

The sunscreen is in the Target bag. We've never had an issue with bugs-- have we just been lucky? I'll pick up those wipes the next time I'm out.

And we have 2 cases of water on order with Garden Grocer, so we're covered there.

Is Garden Grocer a delivery grocery? We are flying and will be there in a couple of weeks. When we drive I generally bring cases of water and in room snacks. I was wondering the least expensive way to hydrate while there. We have done the refillable mugs before, but they are pricey and my kids drink way too much sugar. How expensive is the Garden Grocer?

Also, bug spray...I have found we have never had a problem with bugs at Disney (even though its Florida in the summer!). I did read someone saying they seem bad this year. Any thoughts? I'll pack some, just wanted to be prepared. I heard Disney brings in its own pest control.

If all you want is water, take a look at Staples. They'll deliver cases of water at minimum cost. http://www.staples.com/water/directory_water?

But, yes, Garden Grocer is a delivery service. We use them every trip, and have never had a problem. They're more expensive than my local supermarket, but WAY cheaper than WDW.
Why Thank you! I had no idea! I will look into both and I very much appreciate the advice! We are SO excited!

Also, counter service at WDW will give you free ice water if you ask. It is not tap water but from the fountain so it's good.

Yes, the bugs are bad this year. It's been warmer than normal and we had an unusually wet May early June = bugs.

If you're taking a camera, memory cards! Disney charges up the wahzoo for them. (Learned this lesson the hard way)

Chargers
GermX sanitizing wipes (they're not as sticky as the bottle sanitizers)
Bonine for some rides, Dramamine for the plane
BandAid Friction Block (vital!)
Tiny Travel Umbrella(s) (Yes, even with Ponchos)
Safety Pins

Scissors, aloe vera (just in case some sun gets through sunscreen), & an air fresher with night light (pick a scent you haven't used at home and then it will always remind you of Disney!)

In the first aid kit, don't forget Moleskin. Great for blisters.

Body glide or something similar. Monkey butt powder. For those chafing spots between the thighs and the booty. ;)

We always bring antibacterial hand wipes, to clean hands before eating snacks.

Water bottles. We like Bobbles, because of the filtration. Britas work well too.

Phone chargers! People always forget them, because it's something you use until right before you leave.
