Hi everyone! I am planning hat I hope to
be our best Disney trip yet. My son is 5 it is just the two of us :) he loves the fun value resorts, wanted to do dinning but we can't since we have park tickets already. If anyone can advise on how to plan without losing the Disney magic but saving $ on the hotel so we don have to avoid eating on property please advise! I am a fla resident and work for the state.

I wish we could do dinning!!!! Our trip is for february!:cheer2:

Even though you have tickets, you could save them. If you have an AP, then you can still get a package and save the 1-day base ticket (or 2 day if you go with free dining), and then apply those tickets when you renew your AP.

Since it's just an adult and one child, the discount FD gives you can be about the same you would get on a room only code such as the one just released.

About eating on property... you can be smart about and save at the same time. Go for character breakfast instead of dinner as they are cheaper. Share a quick service meal. Skip a meal (do late breakfast, early dinner).

So do your math - you'll save some...
