Not this trip, but i did see...

I won mickey ears last october, so i couldnt get TOO sad when i came home this afternoon after not winning a thing the past week.

However,

On thursday (8/9/07) i was in epcot. In the land pavillion eating breakfast with my mom....

all of a sudden i see about 15 or so dream eam members causing a big comotion and set an older couple (maybe in their 60s---no kids w/ them) down at a booth right across from us.

The dream team plays them this DVD and all of a sudden it looked like the guy started crying!

One of the dream team members turned around to everyone sitting next to us and yelled "Hey everyone, this lucky couple just won A NIGHT IN CINDERELLAS CASTLE!!!"....

They had to go through what looked lke a bunch of paper work, but MAN WAS I JEALOUS.

i seriously thought all those dream team members were there coming to tell me i had won the DVC!!!


Oh well, my mickey ears will do just fine, i guess!!

And if that couple is a disboard couple, than CONGRATS!!!!!!!

It was so cool being witness to all the various kinds of emotion that was shown in that 10 minutes i stuck around!!!!

I guess if you didn't already have park hoppers and you won while you were in Epcot, you'd have to upgrade your tickets to get to your room that night?

How wonderful to know that they'll give out the bigger dreams to just couples and not just families. I know most people say it's for the kids, but it's just nice to see people win, no matter what their age and party size

Congrats to the couple, I'm sure they loved their evening in the castle!

They don't really have a choice: baby, kid, teenager, young adult, middle-ager, or senior ... the prize is awarded to a specific seat at a specific location at a specific time. The winner could be any age or any party size.
