It's not very easy to navigate like it used to be! It's kind of hard to get directly to the info needed at the moment.
More changes, more changes.
And this Magical Gatherings thing, DEAR ME! They're shoving down our throats. Enough already.

I agree Andrabell. I don't like the website either, and speaking of magical gatherings. I think that it is unfair that you must have 8 people or more to get special things offered to you. DH and I have loyally been going to WDW year after year, but I highly doubt we will ever go with 6 other people. I think the whole Magical Gatherings is very unfair.

I like it, much easier to navigate. I don't think the Magical Gatherings is any more unfair than other offerings for other demographics.

One thing I noticed, and I don't recall the last time they did it, is that they don't post the parade/nighttime show times anymore. At least, if it's there, I couldn't find it.

The parade and fireworks shows are listed in the calender. You have to click on the calender and then click on the date you are interested in. It took me a lot longer to find things on the new site

I do agree. 8 seems to be a somewhat exclusive number, in my family's case. My children and I are three, my sister, her husband and kids are 4 and we don't seem to be enough of a family in the eyes of the Gathering organizers...

Wonder when they'll dedicate a gathering or activity to single parents and their children...

I like it. If you click on the different resorts, you get A LOT more information. You also get more dining info than before, which I like. And I love that you can save all your information right on the website.

I wouldn't get all bent out of shape about Magical Gatherings yet. We haven't heard a lot about it yet, only a couple reviews, (albeit good ones from my standpoint).

I don't think this really is a slam at smaller groups. They had to draw the line somewhere.

i didnt like the fact that when you go to book a package they ask you hotel preferance and package preferance and then it automatically gives you a quote for the most expensive room with concierge. then you have to click on some other button to find the other room view options.

good marketing. It is only one click to change the options, IMHO, no big deal.

Personally, I liked the old one better!

I also like the old one better. And i haven't been on here in awhile so when i gto to this site it was like a totally different site... Does anyone know why the changed it?

Well, I liked the old one, but when they changed it (I had Windows 98), EVERYTHING except the top ad bar and the drop down menus at the bottom disappeared!!! I couldn't believe it--it was just GONE. Well, my computer CRASHED yesterday and was not salvagable. So I bought another one last night. Now I have Windows XP and I was REALLY excited when I got to navigate it. I'm still playing with it, but it's not bad!

Incidentally, with my previous PC, it ran so slow I guess that I didn't know that the little smileys were animated!!! Man was I missing out!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :earseek: So HI everybody!!! :wave2:

Give it a chance, guys! It's way more fun to play with!:)

They change it now and then to freshen it up. Nothing is static at Disney, not even the website, always dynamic.

Hayley, ITA, to me it is a lot more user friendly for those that are not used to navigating sites.
