We purchased our tickets in May and bought the EBCI at the same time. Today, I go to print my boarding passes [it was easy to do from home and I did it at the 24h mark just because that's when I had time to do it before leaving]

I got A17, my DS5 got A21 and my DH got A25...how does that work? All tickets were bought together? :confused3 So, do we all have to go back to A25 to board together? Can I board at A17 and save 2 seats for them? Where does DS have to go...with me? Alone, four places behind me with Dad four places farther back? Back with Dad? I don't want any confrontations or fights to simply get on the plane and thought that EBCI would at least keep us all together near the front of the boarding process....I actually went back to check and see if we had EBCI as I was worried about the return trip where I won't have the computer at the World but it shows EBCI on all three tickets both ways....Thoughts?

Those are all low numbers, you don't have to worry. There may not be anyone in A1 to A15. I would go with your son at A21 and save a seat for your DH (leave the middle open). You might not get away with saving 2. There have been recent posts where people who did EBCI got B's, so your numbers are great!

Thanks for the fast response! We are in final pack mode and its good to just relax about the whole boarding thing. Like I said, I really just want a smooth trip and not to have to deal with someone losing their mind because I did it "wrong" KWIM?:goodvibes

I don't know why SWA sometimes skips numbers it happens with regular check in and EBCI, we all just board at the highest number.

However - don't worry! Even if you board with the highest number you will be the 21st person on an aircraft that seats @130 :) Many times the A1-16 spots are not taken if there are no business class passengers.

Unless you want a specific seat (exit row etc) you will find plenty of rows of 3 to choose from at A21.

Enjoy the trip!

Just board with the A25 person. You will have ZERO problems getting together as even A25 is a high spot.

Except for the medical pre-boarders. Not trying to split hairs with you but just so the OP knows what to expect. Even someone with an A1 bp may not be the 1st to board.
