I was planning on letting the girls wear their lanyards with the pins on them. Is that a problem? We can pack them in the checked bags.

No I wasn't sure if they were allowed on the plane so I was wondering what you were planning on doing

I've sold some on ebay but never bought.

It is probably more complicated to sell. Did you have to post pictures and then handle the shipping.......I have bought a couple times before, at Christmas time, and never had any problems. I could count on my hand the number of times I bought though. It is fun to look......window shopping from your couch!

I am a much better packer than siggy fitter inner.
My suitcase will be efficient.

For now, I think that's more important. Once you return from your trip, you'll work on fitting in your siggy just the way you like it. I'll be there to cheer you on since I'll be working on the same thing.

My kids had them in their carry on bags and we had no problem so your way shouldn't be a problem, either. snow might know better.

It is so addicting...I just found a Snow White lunch box

It is very addictive. My 7 year old nephew loves lego and I've been bidding for weeks on sets of lego people. You would not believe how high the bidding goes. I'm usually out of the running very early on.

It is hard to sell. I've only sold about 15 items since I've been a member, and that's a few years now. Luckily, DD has patience to take care of taking pictures, posting and listing the items. Right now, though, because of her long work hours, there's not much time for that. It is definitely fun to browse around and see how much people are willing to pay for some things.

If you have the time, I would recommend you check with your airline because rules keep changing. It would be quite upsetting to have a problem once you are at the airport.
Why not post here on DIS and get some opinions from those who have flown recently?

yuck. I just got finished with those textbooks and summaries, so I get to go back to reading for fun now!

We take DS to church camp today, it is about an hour from here, in a fabulous wooded setting........he has gone for years and still loves it. Me, cabin, no ac, rustic bathroom facilities, not my cup of tea!

I went to girl scout camp about 9 years ago and came home with 100 bug bites...needless to say I never went back
