Just returned from my second visit to the HRH. First stay was 2 1/2 yrs ago for vacation, this was a business trip. The rooms are showing wear & tear & the service was poor.
My co-worker's room had the door ripped off the mini-bar! She called and they came & fixed it, but left a big mess that wasn't cleaned until the next day. When I checked in, my key was changed twice before they figured out there must be something wrong with the door lock and they changed my room. This was after dragging my luggage to the room twice, then back through the lobby twice.
My room (on the 3rd floor) and co-worker said same about her room (1st floor) never really felt clean. There were crumbs under the table in my room from a previous guest. The beds looked like they were made by a teenager. The mini-bar fridge was disgusting and needed a thorough cleaning. The sink did not drain well & the toilet stopped up on the last day.
We had a group rate of $159 and it wasn't worth that. I won't be back and am thankful I wasn't there on vacation. Very disappointing for a Loews hotel.
