I just want to say that I adore these forums! Everyone is so helpful! Now I have a question.
We will be at WDW from Jan. 12-16. My DS birthday is January 30. Is it OK to ask for a birthday pin for him and celebrate as though it is his birthday, or are those festivities ONLY for people who are there on their actual birthday? The trip is technically his Christmas AND birthday present so I really want to make it count. He is turning 9 and we have never been on a family vacation.
Any other tips on making his time REALLY special? We are staying at the Pop Century (have requested 50's building) and I have PS for breakfast at Restaurantsaurus and Crystal Palace as well as one for Sci-Fi. He is a huge fan of cheesy horror movies, so he will love it even though it isn't character dining.
I read the other thread about having a special phone call from a character. Are there other things available for a reasonable cost (or better yet, free?). Thanks for your help!
