Not disney related...but am i a terrible sister???

I wanted to ask you guys and not the community board because I wanted to opinion of other college students...

My sisters are staying at college with me this week. One is 12 and one is 15.

The 15 year old looks way old, like in her 20s!

My friends were going out to a nightclub tonight and asked my 15 yr old sister if she'd like to go.
(I couldn't go because my 12 year old sister is here and I gotta look after her)

So she asked if she could go and I said YES.....

And so she's gone, and I'm SOOOOO WORRIED! I know my friends are sensible and she's just at a club round the corner from my house, she has her cell phone and we're in constant contact.

Plus she has promised me she won't drink (fyi, im in the UK where drinking age is 18).

Am I the worst, most irresponsible sister EVER????? I feel such an idiot! I didn't think she'd actually go!!!!

I don't think you are a terrible sister, but it probably wasn't wise to send a 15 year old off to a bar with your college aged friends. I hope everything turns out okay.

I know, very silly of me. I live in a very small, safe English village so thankfully I didn't need to be too worried.

She came back unharmed but I wouldn't do it again.

My friends were very good though, they promised me they'd be very responsible, take care of her and keep in touch with me.

They kept their promise so it was really reassuring.

At 15, a lot of kids I know go to clubs anyway in England, so if she had to do it I'm glad it was with my responsible, older friends and not her own silly friends!
