. No seriously, a girl I know was taken to the ER for fainting and her bill came to $4000. All that to run a few tests to see if she was having a heart attack. She was inbetween insurances. This happened a year ago. Well now the hospital is putting pressure on her to pay $400 a month to pay it off. She can not afford that. They are threatening to send her to collections. I thought if you made a good faith payment (even $10 a month) every month on time that they couldn't do that. She has been making $50 payments but they are playing hardball with her. I think because she is really young they are trying to bully her. I told her to have her mother call on this. Check into that so they don't try to do to you what they are trying to do to her. I feel bad for her because she feels really stressed about this. Hope your daughter is feeling better as well.
