$24,993. Still not dead? That was my daughters Appendectomy and 7 day hospital bill. I would have been making the docs talk real fast. It sure feels like they have one of those Taxi tickers and the dollar bills just keep going higher and higher. I hope you get off much cheaper and get well soon!

That's why I hate emergency rooms, they put you through all kinds of tests and charge you and arm and a leg, then still can't tell you what's going on with you-put it off on your family doctor. I was just wondering did you take something before that happened, for your headache maybe? I took Excedrin Migraine one day and I ended up in the hospital. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. I thought I was having a heart attack but of course, they couldn't find anything after running me through tests and I was to follow up with my doctor. I was ready to have one when I seen the "huge" bill that came in the mail following the visit. Well, I am paying them $10 a month, so it'll be paid when these $10/months add up to the total bill. They shouldn't make you take so many tests unless it's just ABSOLUTELY necessary.

Glad to here you are not dead Wobin! I'm sorry you and Nikki are not feeling well. I hope your Dr can figure out what is wrong. You know, my last trip to the ER (DD2yrs was very ill and was admitted to the hosp with pnuemonia and dehydration) was no where as amusing as yours.

My doctor was concerned we had meningitis but we can touch our chins to our chest, so that was ruled out.

Funny the ER didn't think of that.

My son was rushed to the hospital a week and a half ago. He stood up and fainted, his eyes rolled into the back of his head and was not coherent. His blood pressure was very low and his pulse really high. He had a stomach virus, and started throwing up in the middle of the night, very bad and didn't tell us. He was seriously dehydrated, and it had also thrown his blood sugar off. It was one of the scaries moments of dh and my life.
The next night son #2 got it. We stayed up with him all night keeping liquids into him. Both of them were sick for a whole week with this. They lost 10lbs apiece and they are already skinny. Today they said it was the sickest they ever remember being.
