The MS 800 number is almost certainly an "unlimited" flat fee arrangement. I think it is a bit silly for owners to spend a lot of time stressing about the cost of a few renters possibly getting ahold of the 800 number and calling it.
cost i dont care about..........i dont want them tying up our lines so we DVCer have to wait any longer..........i just wish they would get this internet thing done
I agree with Bongo on the internet thing - even notoriously bad customer service companies like Fairfield have set up the ability to not only make reservations on line and request trades, but to check your confirmation and print out the confirmation right from the website. There is no excuse for how behind the times DVC is in their online abilities. That would make a huge difference in the busy signals on the 800 number, and ultimately would save money because fewer MS operators would be needed to take live reservations, etc.
