Not All Treasure Is Silver And Gold, Mate - *Update 9-17* P60

Awww...I'm glad you were able to have that moment with your dad and ride Nemo together!!!

Handsome French waiters singing Happy Birthday, that is definitely one way to celebrate! I'm glad you had a better experience there and was able to share that with your family!

Don't you just love Remy! I can't wait to see him in October as long as he is there LOL!

It was really nice. Not in a deep and profound way, just in a girl with her daddy kind of way, special all its own.

You said it. I'm not kidding, there were no women, it was all male waiters singing to me. :lmao:

He's so cute! I hope he's still there so you can see him.

I've never had a desire to try the Chefs either, really, but not because of a previous bad experience, but because, all the other places look so much more exotic and inviting. However, now that I know that gorgeous French men run around and croon the lady guests, well, it just shot up about 10 notches. :lmao: And escargot! :lovestruc:cloud9::lovestruc ... with garlic.

Such sweet memories you all made. I know they will last forever, TK! :goodvibes

A ride with your dad, meeting all the characters, and having happy birthday sung to you twice -- once by a rat, and then, by gorgeous French waiters -- sounds like a pretty darn good day to me. :thumbsup2

I have to tell you, the food in Chefs de France is incredible. They have wonderful menu selections, it's impeccably prepared, and there's a reason it was my mom's favorite in Epcot. She used to say that it was better than some of the signature restaurants, and with good reason. If you have any inclination, I don't think you'll regret trying it, and the dinner menu is even more extensive than lunch. Never mind the gorgeous waiters. ;)

Indeed! :goodvibes

TK-
Great update!

I'm so glad you had the chance to ride Nemo with your dad. What a great memory to last a lifetime.

Your dinner sounds delightful- good food, good company, good waiter, and good hot French guys serenading you!!! :lmao::lmao:

I have always heard mixed reviews of Chefs but recently they seem to be getting better. Glad to hear Remy is still there.

You had me cracking up with your Jack Sparrow comment. :lmao:

Hon, you may feel free to laugh at this. Call it pregnancy brain or the stress of the past couple of weeks but I had to actually go back and reread that chapter to figure out what my Jack Sparrow comment was! :lmao:

I am rather witty sometimes. ;)

Snails, rats and Frenchmen.......that's some lunch!

a ride alone with your dad, a TK and DS M&M sandwich....

perfection.

One foot, each day, and breathe. And know it's ok to have the hole and even talk about it.

I can understand pregnancy brain...errr well not first hand, but I know that your kids suck the brain out of you. I guess it starts for the mom in pregnancy. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

And believe it or not, we can still function at 3.25% of what we once started with. :lmao:

WOW that is a low percentage! :scared:

Glad you are still able to function though... you have enough 'bathroom' problems. :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh, that was RICH!! I see you brought "donkey mode" over here. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Here's how I figure it. I lost 1/2 with every pregnancy. If my math is right, which is usually isn't, I'm left with a shockingly LOW %.

Sorry, TK, looks like this is tonight's sandbox- we've come to play. :rotfl2:

I was using 'bathroom' in the context of backed up pipes and sewage seeping onto the bathroom floor. Just to be clear. :)

Yes, when you speak with someone who's been preggers, you must be VERY, VERY clear. See, I was mixing up funcion with constitution. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Why yes it is Miss Kat......:upsidedow

Let me know when you start the pre trip report. ;)

And thank you. It is a big hole, and it will never get filled. I know the only thing that will ease my pain is the passage of time, and learning how to have this "new" life. It still s-u-c-k-s though.

Not to get all technical on you, but I have a book that actually scientifically proves this. When you're pregnant, your brain allocates more function to the pregnancy and to thoughts of the impending child, thereby dropping off less important things like, oh, how to make correct change when you're standing in line trying to pay for DS' Happy Meal. ;)

Look, you kids can play in the sandbox any time you want, especially if you're going to make me laugh like you just did.

Function v. constitution. :lmao:

Glad we could give you chuckle in this otherwise heavy-hearted time.

Aren't they sort of the same thing?? Sort of? Even if I did spell function wrong?

I've said this elsewhere on the DIS, but I'll repeat myself. My laughter is highly cherished right now, so I thank the two of you for your banter.

Do we need to start talking about catharsis again? ;)

What a wonderful time. I'm glad that your DS did much better with the characters this time around. Getting to spend that time with your family is precious.

The dinner at Les Chefs sounds like it was great too. I've yet to make it in there. You can't go wrong with good looking French waiters singing to you though!
