I’ve been away too long and had a number of pages to catch up on.

As long as the schedule permits, my brother might join us for the trip. That would be great as he is alot of fun to travel with.

My DSIL and DBIL are discussing going too! They are so awesome! They are pretty much our best friends. A lot will matter on their finances. My BIL was hit by a drunk driver and was out of work for a number of months. Unfortunately, the driver and her husband were killed in the accident and they were uninsured. It’s a weird situation and the car was owned by a company of some sorts. So now the lawyers are working on getting all the expenses paid for by this company. DBIL’s insurance didn’t cover but about half of the entire cost. What a mess. Sad story too. The couple left behind a 1 year old son.

Enough sad news!

I've just started a BSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology, Claire... I'm a seriously mature student and it's tougher than I'd anticipated but I've wanted to do this course for 3 long years (I was turned down twice) so I'm also loving it...

How wonderful! What do you hope to do when you grow up? Just kidding!

As time gets closer, I will hopefully have more time to post and keep up on all the threads I am sure we will run through! I can be counted upon to help or participate with a variety of items (lanyards, fish extenders, Stem to Stern Pub Crawls, etc). Look forward to meeting everyone soon

Exactly my feelings about my mom.

I knew I liked you! My DM and I are a bit like water and oil. We can get along over a salad, but we weren’t meant to go much past that. Just for an example: My DGD’s birthday is next week and my DM asked me what she should buy for her. I said a Barbie might be nice because I was buying her a remote control Barbie Car. The next day my DM called and left a voicemail telling me that she bought the car and that I better think of another gift. OK, I know I should let it go. But my DGD specifically asked me for the Barbie Car and my Mom just knows how to push my buttons. So I bought a Barbie Car too and will be giving it to her the day before the party. And I bought a Barbie CD sing a long player to give her at the party. OK, you can all BOO me now!

Karen, I got your Christmas card today. Wow! You are so ahead of me. I haven’t even bought my cards yet. I guess I better get right on that! Thanks so much! The card is so cute!

I always thought Eeyore made a cute turkey. I think I have the pin of that from a few years ago. Pooh was a pilgrim and I can't remember what Piglet was.

That gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, our waitlist for a 2 bedroom at VWL will come through this close, but I doubt it. Here's a little extra pixie dust for all of us still waiting.

Good Morning cruisers, finally got caught up after not getting to the boards yesterday! You were quite the chatty group yesterday!

Well, I survived my long walk! It was actually 2 walks, one loop of 11 miles with the dogs, then a short stop at home to use bathroom, drop off tired dogs, eat a Kashi bar, and refill my water bottle, then out for a 7 mile loop. The actual milage was 18.53 miles, pace was 16:35 – not fast enough to beat the sweepers, but I was not pushing the speed, just walking at a comfortable pace. I almost feel ready for the Marathon in Jan.

We have put up a bird feeder next to the bird bath, and the finches are just flocking to it, it is right outside the window next to the computer, so I get to watch the birds while trying to keep up on the boards! The only problem is that I cannot make any sudden moves, or all the birds spook and fly off. I am literally no more than 4 feet from the bird feeder!

It was 71 degrees here yesterday, tomorrow, it is supposed to be 37 degrees!!!

Hi Randi and welcome to our little thread. I have a nosy question. Do you mind sharing how much of an onboard credit Disney is offering on this cruise or the Med cruises? I moved onboard bookings to this and I really don't know how much of a credit I will be getting.
