I'm so jealous of all you guys going to WDw for the holiday decorations. We'll be there in January for marathon weekend (more work than play for me, though) but everything will be down by then. Sad to miss the Osbourne Light Show.

Good Morning cruisers! Got caught up - not too many pages since last Friday! We went to Missouri for the weekend to visit Scott's parents, then came home to prepare for our party last night.

Our “Opening of the Adventurers Club – West” party was a success. We both ran up and down stairs so many times during the evening that I think we both got our workouts in! We now have tons of food left – you know, the junk food that you always serve at a party! We will be eating Buffalo Chicken and mini soufflés for a week! On the good side, we also have a big veggie tray left!

It is very windy here today, high wind warning in effect until tomorrow sometime – currently blowing at 27mph with gusts to 47, warning is for 45-55mph winds. Our yard is getting full of tumbleweeds, I need to go push them out of the yard so they will blow to Nebraska!

Boy, Christmas cards and presents already – and I thought I was organized, and I will not get to these things until later in the month!

On the other hand - WE ARE PENN STATE!!!

I am also a Penn State Alum - I tend not to follow the football, because every time I do, they start to lose!

Jeanne - last year we got to catch the Osbourne Lights as they did not take them down until after we got there in Jan. Maybe we will be lucky enough to catch them again this year.

It's such fun, Rita! We have about 4 secret "swaps" per year - Easter, Halloween, Christmas decoration and the usual secret Santa... As far as the procedure goes, it's the same for them all. If we want to take part, we just PM our details to the person organising the swap - name, address and any preferences or likes/dislikes. When the sign-up window has closed, she then PMs back the name of the recipient and it's time to go shopping!!! I usually stock up with gifts in WDW - I love taking part...

No, I never watch, I did not even get to check to see the score, are you saying they lost?

Really ugly here today – got about 2-4 inches of snow overnight, and it is windy – my wind gauge has frozen, but weather guy says 25mph wind with gusts to 45mph! The wind chill index is 6 degrees. High today will be 33 degrees. We have some good drifts in the backyard. The dogs would not go outside this morning, they have finally braved the wind and are outside now (probably wanting to come back in – be back in a minute).

Scott is still out of town, decided to stay overnight and finish up this morning, hoping that he will not have to go back there next week. He was planning to be back in Cheyenne around noon, but weather might delay him a bit.

Good news on the cat 2! We never been higher than a cat 5. This will be our 1st time in an inside cabin. At least the dgs won't be able to argue that it's not bedtime because its still light outside.
