Here we go:

Steve & Eva - Cabin 6094 - DVC members for 11 years. Own at OKW, Vero, BCV, and AKV. Lived in Pekin, IL for most of our lives. Also lived in Germany for 3 years over 20 years ago when Steve was in the military. Have two daughters (Rachel 25 & Shannon 23). And two grandkids - Lexy (2.5) and Ethan (6).

Eva (46 on the cruise) - turning 47 on the 28th after the cruise. Previous high school math teacher, previous IT instructor for computer learning center, now in sales with a staffing firm.

Steve (46 on the cruise) - 22 years with the same insurance company in their IT department. (Pretty boring, huh?)

Wow! It's pretty sad when we can put our entire life in a couple short paragraphs like that.

Mary Jane and Kirstyn - Cabin 2083 (hoping for an upgrade) - Signed up for DVC (AKV) on my 2007 Med cruise. Wish I had done it sooner. Live in Waterloo, Ontario for the last 20 years, before that Oakville. Born in Montreal, Quebec, but I don't speak French. I am divorced, but got a beautiful daughter, Kirstyn, out of the deal. We are both Disney nuts, with Broadway theatre being our second love. I will be 49 on the cruise, although it's kind of an 3 month early 50th birthday present. Kirstyn will be 19, her birthday is in August. I have worked the last 20 years for an insurance company in IT. Sound familiar Eva!

Jackie & I were thinking about St Petersburg & doing our own thing (non DCL tour).

Who might be interested??? I'd be more than happy to keep a list of that (people's names, ages of kids) and places you'd like to see (if there is anything specific & of course after some research -- I definately need to do that!).

From what I read before - Alla (atleast - not sure about Red October) will customize something for us if there are specific things our group wants to see.

Is there a way to set up an area on the web page to hold the bios? Great idea but not sure if anyone wants the responsibility to add them all to one page as our group continues to grow. (Now, of course, that creates the need to set up that page on the webpage so I guess I would be creating work for someone . . .) Also, with the size restrictions on threads by 2010 we would be trying to figure out which thread had the bios.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

A group of people usually do lanyards for everyone. I will have a bag of candy so whoever(kids) we get will have a little something each day.

Yes a group doing laynards and maybe one for silicon bracelets too. It's so much easier to have a group chip in for these than trying to have individuals send money to one person who's trying to coordinate everything.

OK...here's my story. I'm going to proced with my life thinking I'm definately going on this cruise AND the WBTA. It's too difficult not to 'play' with everyone on the threads and to think about the excursions and activities. If it turns out plans change, well....I'll get over it.... I have the vacation time available and I'll just 'allow' the money to show up!
