Afternoon, people! Just returned home after a crazy morning and on my doorstep was this...

Having a little look and only place that doesn't feature is Warnemunde. It's an interesting starting point anyway and has plenty of other ports I'll be visiting over the next couple of years...

I love that brand of travel book, nice crisp pictures, and great info. I will have to look into that one, because I too, am hoping to see more of those ports in the coming years.

I saw the thing about the Hawaii DVC on all ears. It looks like it will be a really nice resort. Hopefully we'll get to stay there one day.

It is John having a brain scan this afternoon. A bit of a shock as he only went to the docs on Tuesday!!!



I didn't know he was going to the doctors Claire. He has had increasing pressure in his head which feels like it is exploding when he sneezes. The doc doesn't think it is a tumour as he has no other neurological symptoms, but wants to discount it. Our neighbour sadly died from a brain tumour in June just 3 weeks after it was diagnosed, so that doesn't help.

We are just back from our 6 weekly visit to the chiropractor, and he thinks it could well be sinus, which we were hoping for anyway! John is always blocked up and snores for England!!!

Our prayers are with you and John, Marilyn. Even when the doctor says he doesn't think it is a tumor, it is still unnerving. Let us know as soon as you hear anything.

You would be surprised at how many people call us that. When we play Buzztime together, that's our sign-in name. STEVA

When Steve's Dad was alive, we used to call him and Steve:

"Frank N Steve"

It was a pretty funny personal joke with the whole family. They were both so much alike and both could be real monsters if you got on their wrong side. Luckily they both mellowed with age. But Steve's brothers and sisters used to say, "Oh no, here comes Frank N Steve." whenever they would both get on a roll together.
