Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

Hey everyone ... Can you believe that in 20 minutes (by my watch) EST it will be one year until we sail!

Thanks for posting your trip report Monica! I can't wait to read it!

One year until we sail the Baltic!!!!!

One year until we sail the Baltic!!!!!

Yippee! I'm so excited!

Envious of you guys who've settled your balance already but we're praying the exchange rate goes in our favour before the cut off. It's edging in the right direction at the mo :-)

In a little over 30 days plus or minus a few we can maek some air arrangements.

The lowest fare to the continent will really lock in our pre and post trip plans.

My subscribed threads are not there???

Back from Myrtle Beach a couple of hours ago. Beautiful weather the whole week except at night, but we were sleeping so it didn't bother us. Guess I had better start looking at flights. I know the one we are going to take so I just need to watch the $ or the amount of ff points it will require. I think I have found a new hotel in London. 4 star and opening in Feb. Looks like it is across the street from the Park Plaza County Hall. Will let everyone know when I have all the details.

Good Evening Cruisers!

One year! wow! I'm sure it will not come soon enough for some of us! I am looking forward to really starting to plan for this one, so far, we have just been planning our pre and post cruise tours.

Have a great day everyone!

I am now holding 2 ressies for hotels in London. The PARK PLAZA WESTMINISTER BRIDGE looks like it is across the street and down a little bit from Park Plaza County Hall. It is due to open in Jan 2010 and looks very nice. I got a suite for less $ than the PPCH. I think the price is better because they are not listed with the main reservations yet since they haven't open.

For London we will use DVC points for the Royal Garden, just gotta get air first.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Nice day here, have gotten the dogs for an early walk, may storm later.

Have a great day everyone!

Yes...I had lanyards made...came out to $3.30/lanyard and I'm happy to send them to you ahead of time if you provide a stamped self-addressed envelope!

There is a picture of the lanyard somewhere on this board...:-)

Hi Everyone! We just got home from a long weekend in Illinois. Patrick went to "camp". Chuck and I went up to visit family in Moline, Sterling, Rock Falls, and Walnut, Illinois. The weather was wonderful, nice and cool and we sat outside at my friend's house by the Rock River one night and another night we sat outside up on a hill waaaay out in the country with a nice fire going watching the stars and satellites going over. I sure miss that from when we used to live in the country north of Sterling, IL before we moved to Orlando. Too much light and humidity around here to see much in the way of stars....but we have Mickey Mouse instead!

We considering using Disney transportation to and from the cruise. Is anyone else doing this? Connie

We'll use DCL at least to get to the ship, but depending on what we do after the cruise we'll have to see on transportation. I don't think the Chunnel station is very far from Dover, I wonder if they'll have a bus or something available going over there?
