I got three quotes yesterday. The only one that is reasonable is the TA in 2011. I am not sure what I am going to do but I have plenty of time to decide.

Right now, I have a reservation for 3 in an inside cabin on the TA for May 2011. I have always wanted to do a TA. I have booked an inside cabin on deck 7 aft so I can slip out the back door to the aft deck and admire the view fairly easily. The price for three was around 2700, I don't remember exactly, but it was very reasonable I thought. That includes the 10 percent onboard booking discount. Very good for a two week cruise. Maybe I will head off to Paris after the cruise and see Disneyland and a few Paris sights with my daughter.

Hey! I think this Northern Capitals Cruise talk has turned into Alaska cruise talk!

I am sure we'll all get back to talking Northern European as soon as the Alaska excitement cools off a bit.
Right now I am making reservations for the Blue Ridge mountains for October. Chuck and I are going to an Octoberfest at the Sugar Mountain ski resort and Mike is going to drive over to stay with us. Patrick is going to "camp". Chuck and Mike want to hike,and I want to go to Biltmore.....we are going to have so much fun!

That sounds like a wonderful cruise! Someday I want to go on a Greek Isles cruise!

We are going to be at Sugar Mountain OctoberFest on October 10 & 11....Is that anywhere near Maggie Valley?
