I keep thinking about a variation of the Jimmy Buffet song...I don't know if we're a-gonna go if the volcano blows!
We booked the early dinner slot, but for the life of me, I can't remember what time that is? Can anyone enlighten me?
Less than 3 weeks...
Rach
Every evening that we change time zones, your stateroom person will leave a reminder card telling us which way to move clocks.
I'm doing a dance, my FE gifts are all finished! About halfway through I'm thinking "I've bitten off more than I can chew", but now they are all done and in the packing pile! Now just have to make our actual FE...
Weather here in Brisbane is heading into winter (yes, we're backwards!), and it's slightly warmer here than it will be on the cruise - and I'm freezing! Thinking warmer clothes will make the cut.

Early dinner should be at 5:45. Late dinner at 8:15. That's been the recent schedule, I think.
This will be my first cruise with changing time zones with a three hour difference between England and Russia. They do change time on the ship right?
If I have this right, we'll lose one hour after leaving London before arriving in Oslo (though I wonder what time they will use while at sea). We'll be on the same time in Oslo, Copenhagen and Warnemunde. But then we'll lose two hours on the way to St Petersburg (again a day at sea in between - guessing we should move one hour each night there). After two days in St Petersburg, we'll gain an hour on the way to Helsinki. Then gain another hour on the way to Stockholm. Finally we'll gain the last hour back while sailing two days back to Dover.

I was looking at the tours site on Copenhagen. It looks like the double decker open top hop on hop off bus goes right by the cruise ship docks. We want to do this, so I hope they do. That would be great! Also we want to do the canal boat ride, and I think the buses must stop by there as well. I know we talked about this a long time ago, but now it's really getting close!

Does anyone know anything about this travel group out of London? They have an afternoon Stonehenge Tour that we are looking at. The London Tool Kit - Premium Tours, their website is http://www.england-london-tours.co.uk/londontoolkit/tours/details.asp?iProductID=193

We will be doing the hop on hop off, in Copenhagen and have prepaid for this saved a little.
Well we are down to the wire, gotta make sure it is all together today, set out and ready to go after work tomorrow. Last min cleaning, checking lists etc etc etc
I wil be watching for trip reports, and living vicariously through those of you who are still going on the trip!
We, unfortunately had to cancel our Baltic, and we are rebooked on the Disney Alaskan Cruise in August of 2011. I am very sad since it was my dream trip, or supposed to be, but once we added airfare and exursions, etc we were looking at $20K plus for the 4 of us! I just couldn't justify it, no matter how hard I tried!
We will be "replacing" our June cruise with a New England/Canada trip on RCCL out of Baltimore. A disappointing alternative, but we are getting excited. We did get a Junior Suite for only $6000, quite a difference compared to our outside cabin on the Baltic for $12,000. We have never been on Royal Carribean, but its also the first larger boat to go out of Baltimore, so there are some special ceremonies that day. *sigh* Not the same, but it will be good!
So bon voyage, have a great time, and can't wait for pictures and stories from all of you!
Good Morning Cruisers!
One last post - need to get last minute stuff done today while Scott is working, and be ready to run out of the house as soon as he gets home! Dogs get to go to the kennel (puppy camp) today. It is a good thing they like the kennel or I would feel guilty leaving them there for such an extended stay!
Safe travels everyone! We will be looking forward to seeing you all in Dover - those that we have not already seen in Barcelona anyway!
