We did an 11 night Baltic cruise this summer on Regal Princess. After doing the Med on DCL in 2016, I would've loved to go back to Disney; but the price for the baltic was more than double what we paid for Princess for an outside view stateroom vs the mini-suite we booked with Princess.
The food at the buffet and counter service locations on the Regal Princess were great! We didn't even venture into the main dining rooms. The ship was very well appointed and I very much enjoyed the pool deck and the Movies Under the Stars. We liked our stateroom but found the beds to be quite small. As for the rest of the entertainment offerings, I was less than impressed but felt they were appealing to their specific demographic. If the price was right and I was looking for a port intense itinerary, I wouldn't hesitate to sail with Princess again, but I did miss the Disney entertainment offerings and the overall sense of joy that I feel when sailing with DCL. For a ship focused cruise, I'll be booking Disney!
