North VS. South: The Mo Edition (ver. 1)

I like NY style better, but both fall on the north side!

I wasn't quite as impressed with NYC pizza, but they're both very different conceptually. One's made to eat as you're walking down the street, and the other is best eaten as a meal while sitting down.

I feel so bad for you. LOL :lmao: (Sorry...I'm laughing as I type this.) I'm kind of a "foodie", so I understand where you're coming from. I feel very fortunate to live within walking distance to....

-1 non-franchised Mexican restaurant
-2 non-franchised Italian restaurants
-2 wine bars
-1 non-franchised seafood restaurant
-2 non-franchised Greek restaurants/markets
-1 non-franchised Japanese restaurant
-1 non-franchised Thai/Chinese restaurant
-3 non-franchised "American" restaurants

You marched in a northeastern corps. That should make up for it. ;)

edit

Oops.....I forgot there are also 2 steak houses (which I guess can be categorized as American) and 3 coffee shops/bars.

Portland has great food too. We've been over the pizza business before....but a foodie would be very happy here.

Another day....another vote!

OK the south has better Theme Parks.....but the North has better Amusement Parks.

So another vote for the north for me! :thumbsup2

I'll take the thrill of a roller coaster over a dancing mouse anyday!

My vote for today will be for the South....

grits, chicken and Dumplins, REAL biscuits, pig roasts, southern style potato salad (it's been a few years since I've been with my family in NC and I miss all the food....but since Granddaddy's 7th wife left him there is no one to do the cooking....I am totally serious it was his 7th wife and she was 5 years younger than my mom, his daughter)

I will have to think about the North tomorrow....

Well, it's January and we've got a cold front coming through.

In that north that would mean sub-zero temperatures.

Here it means that the high will only be getting up to 75 Degrees.

Yeah, I think that means I'm voting for the South on that one.

:thumbsup2

North

White Christmas.
4 real seasons

And we have all the states with gay marriage. :upsidedow

I'll vote for North

The reason-Broadway:dance3:

I vote for the south because:
Running barefoot through a corn field.
Swimming at the rock cory or in the creek.
Kick Ball in the back yard.
Drinking water from the hose pipe.
Maw maw's front porch swing.
Southern fried chicken and Banana Pudding every sunday.
And at night, a game of kick the can.

Pssst Jamie...

We had all of those things growing up in the North too!

(Well maybe not your Maw Maw, but everything else!)
