There's still meatloaf on the menu, but it may not be quite the same. No more pot pies. No more chicken croissant sandwich. Even Oscar's chef's salad appears to be gone. We'll have to try some new things or skip this place in the future.
We ate there last week. I was very disappointed that you can no longer get a bowl of baked potato soup with the roll. The cup of soup is very small and does not come with a roll, I had to buy that separate. The chocolate malt I ordered was one of the best I ever had though. My kids were very sad that they no longer offer the Peanut Butter Painter's Palette as part of their kids menu. An employee mentioned a lot of people missed this kids meal. I actually emailed Disney and complained about that, maybe if enough people do, they will bring these items back. I probably would not eat there again if Chef Oscar wasn't there. One of my kids ordered the yogurt kids meal with the fresh fruit. The yogurt was a joke, it was a teeny little cup of yogurt, the size you'd put condiments in!
We ate there for dinner and the burgers were okay. I loved the fried pickles thought!
We had breakfast. DH likes the Oscar's Choice, which they still have. I had the new Huevos Rancheros, and they were delicious.
I was kinda bummed that if you order coffee now, there is no way to get soy milk.
I just ate there and Kerri if you were referring to my post that was just my observation. I would be curious what others thought but I do agree that the cup was very small and it tasted different to me. Not BAD but just not as good as I remembered. There was hardly any sour cream or bacon on the top and the potatoes were hard and the sauce was darker not milky. It just didn't taste the same to me.
My mom and I split a burger and it was just ok and the malt my mom had tasted like a reg shake no malt. I was pretty dissapointed as I have always LOVED this place. Not to mention there was a TON of seating both inside and out and we had a ressie and STILL had to wait quite a bit and they were telling walk ups 45 mins and yet all these tables??? So I hope it gets better or else I fear they will lose a lot of old timers.

Sorry, I took from your comment that they had changed the bowl of soup to a cup and were charging more. I was just pointing out that they actually used to offer a choice of two menu items, a cup and a bowl, so they didn't "reduce" the bowl size, they just eliminated it and retained the smaller sized option, the cup. I too am disappointed in this change. Also, the current price of the cup of soup matches the last menu price of the cup before the refurb, so the refurb didn't necessarily contribute to the over-priced state of the soup. With these changes and the comments of a previous poster that the soup didn't look or taste quite the same, I am feeling less inclined to bother with CC for lunch or dinner anymore. Maybe we will give breakfast another try since we weren't all that fond of it there before, so there aren't really any good food memories to destroy.
i am going to go because i love the turkey sandwich on pretzel bread...but let me tell you somethin'...if they bring me a cup of $5.49 soup and it doesnt taste good..its going back and I will ask them to take it off my bill...no way am i paying that much for it if its mediocre...

I can't remember if your post or not, it probably was but I honestly can't remember. The sour cream and bacon was the best part...... I think a lot of us old timers will be disappointed just because of all the menu changes.
