Nooooooo.. not the TTA

My wife asked me today my favorite part about the world and I mentioned it was the TTA. I have always loved it. So I come home and pop it on youtube and I see that the narration has completley changed, and it is TERRIBLE!!

I am sure this has been discussed already, but this level of outrage deserves a repost.

I agree with you. It's a fake and cartoonish voice now. No more booming voice, Now approaching Mickey's Star Traders, etc. I don't know why they changed it, or why they felt they had to change it. Sometimes things should be left as they are. This is one of those times.

I totally agree. I wish more companies would follow the old addage: If it ain't broke, DON"T FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

I've known of this change. I've experienced this change. I'm sad about this change.

I think it is! The new voice just does not have the same effect at all as that booming, low "now approaching, mickey's star traders!"

Ewww, the new narration is terrible. It's so shiny and clean that it's creepy. It doesn't fit at all, it sounds more like a commercial.

I've worked on that ride for the last 6 or so months. And honestly not that many people care that the narration has changed. They find it a relaxing ride to bring your kids when they need a break, or something mom can go on when the teens are on Space Mtn. I love it no matter what!

I hate the new narration too. It seems like there is a lot of awkward silent parts as you go thru the ride. Really - they could've just given us a couple more disney facts during the silence. I like the idea of writing to Guest Communications. Hopefully enough people will write and they'll do something about it.

I agree as well, TTA is one of my "must do" rides at WDW. I drag my poor DH on that ride and COP. This saddens me to hear that when we visit in a couple of weeks they messed with one of my favorites. At least my DH will now sing along to the COP, he knows the words better than me!

I'm not a fan of the new narration as well. But what bothers me more, is the long, dark, silent part through Space Mountain! You can't see your hand in front of your face! Going through that section with young children is difficult.

Gee, I never really noticed the narration. I just enjoy the ride for the nice ariel views over Tomorrowland and parts of Fantasyland.
