Non-Expiring Ticket, Ticketholder is deceased - Can the ticket be transferred?

My deceased uncle had a non-expiring ticket that still has three days left on it. My aunt will be going to WDW in November, can his ticket be transferred to her?

If so, could it be done in advance of her trip so she could book fast passes?

I did a search on the DIS boards for this but the most recent post is over 4 years old, any current info would be much appreciated. Thank you!!

Depending on when the ticket was manufactured, your aunt may be able to link it to her My Disney Experience account immediately to book fastpasses with.

She should bring a copy of your uncle's death certificate with the ticket card and go to Guest Relations. Transferring the ticket is done in person on a case by case basis.
