non-Disney videographers (edited, how much did it cost? too)

I was wondering who everyone used, how they were, why you picked them, if they can do webcasts and give raw footage only, [edit: and how much that cost]. That's exactly what I'm looking for, and while I've found some names from different people's P.J.s, and some threads, I haven't really seen a thread like this.

We used Stan from STVS and really liked him a lot. He does webcasting and he does give you raw footage. The raw footage was great! We really enjoyed seeing everything that was going on when we weren't around. His website is www.stvsvideo.com I highly recommend him.

We will be using Stan at STVS too! He has been great so far! I picked him because of the recommendations here, the different packages and add ons he offered, especially blu-ray, and his prices were great. You can contact him and he will send you a DVD with examples of what he can do.

Boy am I ever fuming. He hasn't given us our raw footage and will not answer my emails. I think the reason he won't hand over the raw is because he knows my video is not up to par and I honestly think he just didn't get the footage. We'll see when I get the raw.

I hate when people are like that. As bad as the footage might be, I'd want SOMETHING! and then we'd deal w/it from there

He did give us a video but it is missing so many things. At first I just questioned why he chose what parts to include in the final video and he basically told me we had a boring wedding in not so many words! My in laws say he kept turning on and off his camera etc like he was having trouble. Thanks, our photos did come out great.

Wow! How can a wedding be boring. I mean sure it's not always lively but he really couldn't find any footage to tape??!!

I obviously haven't seen the raw but in our final we have people tying their shoelaces, talking on their cell phones, staring into nothingness, other people making out.... we are hardly even in it except for the ceremony. So sad, and we spent like 5k.
