At least you know that she's feeling some better if she's asking to play her guitar. Please keep us updated on how she's doing!
I will positively be keeping Rachel in my thoughts. I'm a bit concerned particularly b/c she was dismissed from the ER without anything significant found on the exam/CT. Please keep us posted. See, this is why I'm better reading every few days -- if I waited until the weekend to log on you might have posted some more definitive news re: seeing the neurologist, etc.

In a couple of years once all the new health care really goes into full swing everyone will be able to relate to what I deal with when the government runs your health care. I know you (Judy) are already getting ramifications of it with your insurance changes.
Your vacation can't get here soon enough!
And its hard to tell a deaf cat NO, and he is profoundly deaf, but we talk to him anyway.
Just a quick update, Rachel's concussion isn't any better. She has to rest as much as possible until August 13. She can do some low key things IF I feel her cognition is okay and she is up to it...She begged to be able to play guitar...within moderation was approved, again if I say she can. IF she isn't better Monday, I need to get her in to the neurologist. I just made the call, I am not waiting until Monday, it can take three MONTHS to get in to neuro!
Her head hurts, her thought process is slow, as is her response at times.
I am comforted to know you are praying! Thank you!!
We have an appointment with the neurologist at 11 AM. I have changed the day around to accommodate this of course.
Several have asked how Rachel fainted in the first place, thanks for the reminder Michelle. Not 100 % sure; however, we think it was a vasovagal response while she was using her inhaler. It was NOT the actual medication, she has used that for several years. It happened early Tuesday AM; Rachel had already had breakfast. Labs showed she was NOT dehydrated or anemic.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
