We're taking up three of the cat 10s on deck 7. We've had cat 10s on deck 7 before (and loved them!), but we were on deck 2 for our last cruise, and it was a lot better than I imagined. The lower decks are close to the restaurants :)

This will be my last post for awhile. We're leaving for WDW

We were also on Deck 2 for our last cruise and was very happy with our cabin. I would choose to go back to Deck 2. :thumbsup2

Have fun on your trip!

That's good to know. Thanks!

What do you think you'll do differently this time around?

I know that on the Panama Canal cruises, they opened the excursion listings up in plenty of time for us to think and decide what we were going to try and do before the 105 first booking date. I am sure they did it on the TA repos too, but I joined the cruise after the 90 day date, so I don't know when they did.

When I went in May, it surprised me how windy it was up on deck. We also had some rain here and there, and it was overcast. There were not many people up on deck, at least compared to the normal cruises I am used to out of Florida. I remember wishing that I had a jacket, and bought one of the TA ones on board. I remember it not being bad weather wise in the ports though.

OH MAN....couldn't happen to a nicer guy! And I LOVE Tampa (Clearwater Beach especially) ...if it weren't for that blasted humidity I'd have put in for a transfer a long time ago. (We have TV stations in Jacksonville and Tampa and I'll admit to looking at the job openings once and a while.)

Hey...you might end up with the option of a resident discount for this cruise if it doesn't sell out! :thumbsup2

Welcome!

Congrats!!!

Wow, this cruise is going to sneak up on us so fast! I've just been perusing air purchasing sites to get an idea of prices and flight plans from BCN. Is an 11:10am flight too early to get on our way home?

Thanks for the kind words.

Also, for the idea  I'll certainly check into that pricing. :thumbsup2

I have been lurking for awhile and can't decide whether to book this cruise or not. Here is my problem I would be cruising by myself unless I can get one of my girlfriends to go with me right now no takers dh doesn't want to do this cruise and the WB plus it wouldn't leave him with much vacation time if he did both. Has anyone ever done a cruise this long on their own?? Really want to do both O what to do??:confused3:confused3

I'm doing this cruise solo. After reading a few of the Panama Canal repo reports, I SO wanted to do a long cruise. It just sounded so relaxing. I'm looking forward to having time to relax while reading a book or looking out a window.

Kristi

Funny you should bring that up...DW and I were just talking about that last night and trying to decide at point we should take advantage of the currency going up and paying off the cruise in full. I don't think it will hit par before December, but I am scared it may drop down in to seventy cent range again.

What do the rest of you Canadians think? Our American friends too

Alex

:banana:WOOHOO Canadian dollar is over 85 cents! Lets hope it keeps creeping up! :yay:

A lot of the research I've been doing has been showing 320 days out.
Right now we think we'll be flying out of JFK on either AirLingus or Swiss International Airlines as they seem to be the least expensive. I'd love to do United via Philadelphia but those prices are astronomical!!!

Does anyone know when the flights will come open for booking?

Kristi

Hopefully I can join in with some of the things your all planning. Can't wait to get to know someone else who's on the same cruise as me!
