We did have a good time.

Yesterday was finally beautiful- thank goodness. Of course today is more of the same. The weatherman is saying "what a shame" to those who have to go to work today.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning either -- Chelsea beat me awake which almost never happens.

CP...what a glorious day!! Gone With the Wind...oh I would have loved to have joined you and Chelsea in watching that. One of my all time favorite movies, I'm in a big Civil War kick right now and am thinking I might want to get the North and South miniseries...that could entertain me for days!! OOh and chicken salad...will you send me your recipe???? I've been on the hunt for a good recipe!!!

I was thinking about North and South yesterday, too. LOL! The chicken salad is nothing special -- I just get a can of the Tyson white chicken and mix mayo and celery into it. It's quick and yummy though.

Although now that we don't have to pay $400.00 a ticket to get to Michigan he seems in a much better mood LOL!!!

Marc makes pretty good chicken salad, he boils the chicken then shreds it. Very tender that way. Sometimes we add walnuts and sliced green grapes or cranberries. Very delish!

I haven't seen North & South in AGES.

Yes, it was! They filmed a lot of it in Charleston when I lived there so I have a lot of good memories of North and South.

I made an awesome milestone this past week and had been doing overdrive in the lab last week and needed to take a break at home this weekend. But hope all of you had an awesome holiday! I miss you all so much!!

Hey Gang!!! Happy Belated 4th!!! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday.....ours was cold and rainy here....I'm still not sure it is July yet....never have had jeans on for an entire weekend in July before!!! VERY strange!!! Yesterday we did have some sunshine, so we headed up to Kings Island to take advantage of the nicer weather and enjoy a day out!

We also made some changes to our trip last night....more details on that in the update that is on its' way!!!

I can't believe about that monorail accident!!! I thought those things had built in sensors to avoid such a crash. I am wondering if something happened to the driver that caused him to crash.....I hope we know soon.....and I hope the monorail is back up and running by September! I feel so badly for his family! HOW SAD!!!

I am having the darndest time spending money today -- it is very frustrating. I am almost cranky as a result. Went to Kohl's to look for stuff for the October trip -- nothing. Went to Walmart to grocery shop and hoped to find the martini pajama bottoms that C saw the other day somewhere else -- nothing. Looked at picture frames -- couldn't find anything I liked. Grrrrr.

Now I have to head to MIL's for dinner because there are family members in town yet again. I swear it makes me want to scream!

I am in an ill mood.

Hey girls! Whew, finally a chance to sit down today. First day of camp went smoothly, only one hiccup with a kid showing up late and the others already in a different building at their first activity. Oh well, we got him where he needed to be.

I called this morning and scheduled an interview for Friday morning!

Well, we really did like most of the house but Greg just thinks that the things left (including 46 new windows...yes, I counted...and probably a new roof) that's just too big of an investment. I'm a little bummed because I was a bit excited about it but really, now is not a great time for us to be making such a big financial change. (besides, then I know there will be enough spare money for gnomefest)

CP, sorry about the shopping stress. I went to buy new pants yesterday and didn't find any that fit...BAH! I have a big butt and thighs but not a big waist. Most clothes my size are designed for apple shaped women and I am definitely a pear! That leaves a big gap in the back and shows off my undies

Actually I got a really cool text from Julez today with a sign she saw on vacation...I will go retrieve the text and share it with you all in the morning!!!

So I did make some purchases and the first of them arrived today I will be taking pictures and updating in due time on my PTR because yes these are Disney purchases well some of them are LOL!

Hey Gnomies!

I was sooo glad to have my short day at work this morning! The sun was simply gorgeous today and it wasn't too hot either! Lets see...about 78F! Beautiful! I actually have a nice tan started!

Thanks for all the well-wishes on the job front. It's not a bad job and with this economy I am grateful to have one, I shouldn't be complaining. There's just a lot of drama I find since it's an all-girl staff and I'm the second oldest at 27! Combine that with the pressures from head office to suck every dollar you can out of each customer....it's just not my dream job. If only there was an opening for international imagineers!

I've never seen North and South...and I must say that I got the book years ago but I have never read it. Is there a good romance in it? Is it similar to Gone With The Wind (which I love!)? I was given the book as a gift and the back of it just never sounded very interesting....

Katie - I'm sorry to hear about the house, but it could have turned out to be a money pit! You know what they say, theres lots of houses in the sea! I'm glad your first day of camp went well! I have my fingers crossed for you on Friday! Hopefully I'll be able to get on while I'm away to find out how it goes!

Jess - I hope all of your work is going smoothly and your summer is going well! We miss you too!

Stace, I work in an office with all females as well but the sad thing is that I am almost the youngest. It's all the older females that are embroiled in the drama. I feel like I am in high school on a regular basis.

Uggh to more drama!! That is the one nice thing about summer NO DRAMA!! Most of the time at school its beaucracy so I can only imagine how much petty personal things can get annoying fast!!!

Well I hope you are all having a great morning!!! I need to go mow!! LOL!!!!!

So I officially started my diet last week and as of this morning I have lost 2lbs...its not a lot but its a start!!! I am hoping by the time school starts to have lost 10lbs and to have lost 15lb by my birthday!!
