Does anyone happen to know the per pound price they are currently charging for the Ghiradelli squares at the
store in Disney Springs? Trying to divvy up some budgeting for treats among the kids.

Thanks

I just called them…

$17.95 per. 1/2lb.D4C884D1-B604-4A83-BAD7-D69723E03680.png

And yes you can order a small cup of their whipping cream only as a side EXTRA for your Hot Fudge Sundae!

If that price is for a single serving seems excessive. I know some ice cream places serve items that are intended for multiple people. The writing is too small on that picture to know if this is intended as a single serving or for a group of people.

I often see Ghiradelli squares for sale at our local grocery store. Are they not available where you live?

Because it’s a “Dubai” sundae… I have no idea what that even means

I hate, and avoid, most trends. But Dubai chocolate is one that I have, gladly, paid out the *** for. It is SO worth it to me. IDK what it is about it. But the taste, texture, combo....just hits all the notes.

Just paid 20$ for a dubai candy bar without hesitation. And $7 for a slice of dubai cheesecake. 22$ for it, on vacation...I am the sucker they see coming down the street ;)

Honestly it’s just chocolate with nasty crushed pistachios. Not as extravagant as you may think. And over $20 for that type of chocolate is way too much anyways.

Never heard of it either and no idea if they actually grow/produce chocolate in Dubai. A few articles I find online makes it sound more like someone living in Dubai created this combination of ingredients. Seems to me the term "Dubai Chocolate" is being used as a misleading term to imply something it isn't. Much like how someone views the term "Belgium Chocolate". The Disney sign indicating Dubai STYLE is likely a clever way to avoid legal issues and fool people about what they are buying..............LOL.

This is where some Parmigiano Reggiano-like enforcement of quality standards would come in somewhat handy.

Dubai chocolate is pistachio with chocolate. It was the flavor of the month for milk delivery in July. They had a little explanation.

17.95 for a half pound of Chocolate is insane, I rather go to Walgreens where they have basically the same stuff for half the price. The Dubai chocolate is even more money I rather just eat a Hershey bar !!!....lol

My wife likes the Red 60 pct squares and those are very difficult to find. We generally stock up on a trip. The were standard until 4-5 years ago and never see them anywhere but there at the Ghirardelli shop.

the tahini and kadayif are the real stars. I am a sucker for pistachio, anyway, but something about the textures those 2 things bring...it does my mouth happy :)
