Good Morning Gnomies!!!

It is going to be a busy couple of days around here---have to get the house ready for the realtor who is coming on Sunday.......AAACCCCKKKKKK!!!!! I hate that I have to be responsible for getting everthing done.....I haven't even had any breakfast yet! I'm stressed, can you tell?!?!?!?!?!?

CP and JJ---that is the ONE thing I REALLY don't miss about teaching....the endless grading!!! Being a high school English teacher meant unlimited stacks of PAPERS and ESSAYS!!!! YUCK! So glad for you Jackie that today is IT!!! Do you have some Disney music you can pop in and blare right back?!?!?!?!??!

Julez--sorry about the work thing....I am hoping they understand a little for you!

Christine---so excited for DVC for you!!!! YEAH!

LL just had a relaxing night last night at the resort!!! Getting some rest before her mom comes in.

When was her mom arriving?

Sometime late morning/early afternoon!! I've been texting her throughout the morning when I get a chance to get updates from her!

OK girls, you got me all excited about the treehouse villas. It occured to me that if we are serious about this, we would really have to talk seriously about how we will do this as we are under the 11 month booking period. I don't know but suspect these will book quickly. This of course means the scary prospect of actually committing to dates and such (and last I checked, I still couldn't book plane tixs this far out)

What do you think? I'm in if others want to join me...3 bedrooms; a queen master w/private bath, a queen room and bunk room with shared bathroom. That can easily fit 6. There is also a pullout queen sofa bed and pullout twin bed in the living area (I don't know about you but that is a little too public for my taste). They are going for 318/week. At $10 per point, that is $530 each for 6 people

I'd love the treehouse villas, but I'll have to live vicariously through others by visiting, as I will most likely stay value or even off-site and rent a car.

i know that I am not going to be able to do 7 days for gnomefest... even though $530 ea is pretty cheap.... I can swing it for alot less since I'll probably only be there 4 nights on my points


BTW...that said...I also don't think I'll be able to 'hostess' game night.... I wom't be there long enough, and i'm likely to miss some of you anyway cause I probably won't be there over the weekend

Hey Everyone!! Wooo I'm tired today! I watched the movie "The Strangers" last night before bed and that was a really stupid idea for a young woman who lives alone!! So I had semi-disturbing dreams and didn't feel as though I'd slept at all when I got up!

Jess - Hi!!! I was just thinking of you actually when I saw a commercial for True Blood season 2! I have to get that book finished before it starts!

Juelz - thanks for the reminder - I know I have to get my booty in gear on that TR, but now with the scrapbooking I'm back in 2006!

CP - Happy Last Day Of School!!!! Woooooo Hoooo!

C - I've gotta finish the scrapbook before I can do any photos! I'm not even close! I've only done MK and just started MGM (it still was in 2006!)

I think the Treehouse Villas sounds exciting too! I think they would be soooo cool! But I still have no idea what my budget will really be for the trip. If I'm still only working 20 hrs. a week I'll be staying in a tent! We could always think of splitting rooms elsewhere down the line!

Yay for OnDemand! Well, it gets a little more graphic towards the end of the season....and yes, as far as I know season 2 premieres on June 14th...as long it's the same on HBO as it is for HBO Canada! And no, I don't think it's quite as graphic as Sex and The City!

Only if times get super desperate!! A nasty tent full of love bugs and mosquitoes?! Yuck! I don't even own a sleeping bag! And I don't think I could fit all my luggage in a tent!! Heck I don't think I could even fit my make-up bag in a tent! I just have to remember between now and then that I don't need new shoes and clothes and DVDs every week! And realize that I wont be staying at the deluxes! (again!! Someday....)

And speaking of GF, I *think* the original dates discussed were Wed 4/21/10 thru Wed 4/28/10. I haven't done any looking into this and as Katie says airfare isn't available yet or anything but I was thinking I might do my "typical" long weekend: Thurs or Fri thru Mon or Tues. What have the rest of you been thinking?

The idea of a tent has me . I'm with Stacy. Couldn't possibly fit my make-up and shoes in one! Plus I am definitely not nature girl. But lots of people do have fun camping. The WDW Today podcast gang did a live podcast when they were camping and it sounded like they had a great time!

I think we just tossed some dates around during chat one night, if I remember correctly. The idea being if it was Wed-Wed dates, everyone would be able to squeeze in there somewhere. I'm with ya there on the scale. It's not a number I'm familiar with.
The party was fun- but I'll let someone else do it next year: ala Chuck E. Cheese or similar.

Hey girls!

If others don't feel like the treehouse villas will work for them, that's OK with me. I would really like to stay at CSR (particularly if someone gets a pin code and will share a room with me) but I am willing to do POP too. I'm not sure I'll be able to do the full Wed-Wed either. since I will likely be starting a new job, I will only have 1 or 2 personal days to use which means the rest will be unpaid. I'm likely to try to find an after school flight on Wed or Thurs (probably not arriving until midnight) and returning on Tues or Wed giving me 5 days at WDW

Flights I can find are now booking through the weekend of gnomefest so I looked at roundtrip flights the week earlier and they certainly are not something that will force me to make a decision anytime soon ($400 R/T...um, NO. If they stay that way, I will fly direct on Allegiant and still be able to rent a car for less)

Hey Jess, what is the final decision on MK ADR? (I was thinking GG at Tony's, but I wasn't sure if that was the final choice or the one in the lead) Let's vote on the next one!!!!!!
