No wbta 2013

Well thought out, that was what I was thinking, I can't see DCL having all there ships in the same area. And we now know from FB that DCL have no intention of making an annoucement about the WBTA. for a couple of months, they still have a few things to work out. So we are still playing the waiting game

margaret

I'm as antsy as a kid in a candy store waiting for Disney to give us the date for this cruise. I got the same email message everyone else got. Oh well, guess there is nothing we can do - but wait!!!:confused3:sad2::sad2:

Im planning on booking the eastbound tomorrow which I would only go on if there is no westbound in 2013. Does anyone else plan on doing this? I can always change bookings in a WBTA comes out right?

We are still hoping for the WBTA, but did have our TA book EBTA for us this morning. Got a call from her a while ago with our cabin #.

Guess I'll start looking for the thread.:surfweb:

Although I would have loved them to have released the dates and prices for the WBTA, I am still looking forward to this cruise.

The ports are still booked (when I last checked), it won't stay in the Med around the Holiday Season etc so it will have to go back, and they won't send it back empty.

Any way keep positive and keep counting down the days!!

:cool1::cool1:

I had my TA look at the EB Panama Canal.

Cat 11B for 1 person is 3200!!!! I can go on the EBTA and WBTA for that price (or close to it). Hey.... I may just do that :lmao:

Oh well.... no Panama Canal for me. Maybe one day when I'm Gold and have someone to share the cost.

Any way keep positive and keep counting down the days!!

Do I see an opportunity to sneak in my countdown again.

Nothing yet!!!:confused3 Still no announcement!!1:confused3

I like your positive attitude Grumpy 1234!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Guess I better put a countdown ticker on my posts and keep up with the positive thinking!!!!

I took off my countdown nametag sticker only because I didn't want to get depressed more. But I do feel they'll have this cruise. Now at least I can book a dummy date to get that 10% off, plus the 10% deposit.

Now its just waiting....and waiting....and waiting some more. The big question for me is where it will debark. Galveston or PC?

I am happy today since I'll be on the dream in ONE WEEK!

We all are jealous that we are not on the Dream next week with you Holly - lucky you!!!

We are hoping that we come back to PC as well. Galveston just doesn't work for us either Holly. Keeping the ol' fingers and toes crossed for PC!!!:cool1:

Why not? The carpets on the Dream have 4 ships on the map with 1 West Coast bar a star for Disneyland, 2 in the East near a star for WDW, and another on the Eastern Atlantic next to Europe and a star that perhaps is Disneyland Resort Paris. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzIVQAXJ0Q4

Cruising in the Med is becoming a year round activity. So perhaps dry dock or perhaps and extended stay with Winter cruises in the med

I know it's possible, I'm just refusing to believe it! I've always wanted to do a TA crossing, and I want *this* one! ;)

...anxiously waiting still...:surfweb:

We are going to drop off the roster for this possible cruise. We decided to choose one that is a definite and booked the West Bound Panama Canal in May of 2013. It is not as good of a value as the WBTA would be but the flights and jet lag will much less. We thought the value was still good for our DVC points. Value per point was actually the highest for a cruise since back in 2001 when the points were really low. We have wanted to do Panama Canal for a while and thought this was a good opportunity since the cheaper cat 6A cabins were still available. Best wishes for the 2013 WBTA crew.

Enjoy the PC cruise!!!! You'll have a blast!:thumbsup2

I happened to call DCL twice this morning (wanted to change a cabin #) and I asked both if they've heard anything. One is interested in the WBTA himself, and the other one had friends who did it last year and loved it. Neither one knew when they were going to be released though. Much like us, they hear rumors but nothing definite.

I will keep hoping that they have it, it's at a price I can afford, and an debarkation point that I can do.

Count us in too! We had a blast last time and were sooooo disappointed they didn't go this year. Now we are saving our pennies and crossing our fingers :worship:

Hello is there anybody out there?

[/url]

All the chatter seems to be on Facebook at the moment...

People are discussing other cruiselines transatlantic cruises but the majority want to stick to Disney....

The ship is just the right size...the booze rule is good....AND THE FELLOW PASSENGERS ARE THE BEST....

I hope we hear something soon. I know we are all saving towards this 2013 cruise but it would be great to know the goal is IN PRINT - ON LINE - AND AVAILABLE!!

COME ON DISNEY!!!

Huh? :confused3 Translation please, Norman.

This is why I think we should call the cruise the "They Had to Do Something to Shut Us Up" cruise. :rotfl:
