No souvenier Luggage Tag

I got our magical express tags in the mail a few weeks ago and didn't receive any of the souvenier luggage tags that they usually give us. i was disappointed. did anyone else not receive them this year?

Thank you so much for posting this!! I was bummed thinking we didn't get them because we just planned our trip a few weeks ago and my magic bands are here sitting on my counter and I just walked over and lifted them out and lo and behold there they are!!! I wanted the new looking ones so bad too!! So happy

So happy you found them! It's such a weird spot to put them, I bet you're not the only one who has overlooked them.

Well, darn. I declined my MBs for my upcoming trip because I already had a bunch of them. Looks like I won't be getting new luggage tags this trip.

And also those new luggage tags that are coordinated with magic bands are for guests who booked a package. So DVC guests won't get the tags. But yes, they are inside of the box under the bands. I always like a new and "fresh" magic band each trip so I don't think I'll ever decline mine lol.

We got tags, but only one of the clear loop thing that comes with it to attach it to the luggage! The other three tags got no loop! Weird.

I called the Contemporary and confirmed that you can get them when you check in if you decline your bands. What I don't know is if you only get gray.

I wonder if it's possible to ask for the tags at check in...even if you book a room only package. I'm in Canada so I have to pick up my bands at check in.

You can get them at check in with your bands. Although, it sounds like from the other luggage tag thread that they are for packages only, so who knows.

There has been another recent thread on this too. I thought we did not get any. After our trip, I saw the thread and went back and looked in the magic band box which I had kept under the thing I had pulled the magic bands out of, and there they were.

They actually made them loads better. Almost makes me sorry I got an AP and no longer book a package.

So glad to hear this! We just got our Magical Express tags the other day and my husband was bummed the luggage tags were missing! I can't wait to tell him they are coming soon! Thanks Disers!

Worth asking.....I'm going to give it a try in December.

But the tags are an entitlement only with a package. You don't have a package. I know its a little thing, but why would you ask for something you aren't entitled to?

We'll have to wait and use ours on the way back since MBs are still not shipping internationally. Wish they would start as it means we always have to go to the desk to check in.
