No Rooms ???

We have an opportunity for a very last minute trip to wdw (8/6-13) but there are NO ROOMS available at any WDW hotel. I was shocked and saddened! I am sure it has something to do with the previous free dining offer.

I was able to book a last minute getaway to WDW for 8/4--8/7 and I got lucky on Expedia.com. We are staying @ the POFQ. It looked like all the high end resorts were sold out but there were rooms at the POP hotels, CBR, POR & POFQ. Good luck.

Have you tried a travel agent? What about the travel agent offered on these boards? They may be more likely to finagle something.

Keep checking, people change dates all the time. Did you try the Swan or Dolphin?

For North American Guests, Free Dining starts on August 26th or something like that.

If you decide you don't want SSR, just KEEP TRYING! There are frequent cancellations. Three times CRO CMs have told me to be sure to call 7:30 A.m. EST on Mondays. That is when Magical Gathering and group ressies that have been canceled show up in the system.

Great Britain Free Dining offer: Check in between August 12 and September 29.
Bounceback Free Dining offer: Check in between August 5 and September 29.

I think Disney also offered discount rates on hotel rooms during this time. If you have AAA they did have rooms left Friday morning, I don't think they would have sold out on all hotels in two days.

Unless I'm wrong you will not get free dining. That was only available during a certain time for select rooms. Just wanted you to know if that is what you were hoping for. It will be noted on the reservation if you did get it.

Nope, not due to free dining as it doesn't start until August 26.

Most likely the rock bottom AP rates that came out for July-September stays. I know folks that got rooms at the Moderate and Deluxe resorts for what you would normally pay for a Value resort. Those prices will fill the rooms very fast.

Don't give up. Keep checking the web, put in a request with Dreams Unlimited and call Disney Travel now and then.
