No reservations availability at Magic Kindomon may 23?

Hi All

Today was my 180 mark. We have Sat May 23 as our first MK day but there are no reservations for any restaurant in the park at any time that day. Is something going on I missed?

well this year may 23rd-24th fell on memorial day weekend and thats when disney had their 24 hour rock your disney side celebration.

perhaps disney plans on doing another 24 hour celebration may 23rd-24th since once again it will fall on memorial day weekend.

even if disney does not do another 24 hour celebration that is memorial day weekend so its bound to be crowded anyways.

Anyone know whats going on at the magic kingdom on may 23 2015? Trying to make my 6 month out reservations and nothing is available. Is it because they may be doing MK open 24 hours wanted to get BOG but there is nothing anywhere.

The only think I can think is that you are not at 180 days--they go by actual day count and not months--so you say 6 months out, but is it actually 180 days yet? Some months have 31 days, some 30, etc.

My 180+10 opened on Monday (11/17). I've been able to find BOG dinner for May 24 and 22, but not 23. Same for CRT breakfast. Every time I've played around searching for any meal at MK on May 23, it says no availability at this time.

I've read it's because there might be another 24 hour event (starting Friday, May 22 at 6 am and going until the 23rd at 6 am). However, I don't understand why that would affect dining reservations (aren't the restaurants still open during special events? I understand that the TS restaurants don't open early for EMH, so why would the hours change for a 24 hour event?), or why anything on Saturday would be affected if the event takes place mostly on Friday.

I just came here to post the same thing, nothing in MK on May 23rd, something is up. All restaurants open the day before and after-even BOG was open. I am thinking some sort of event. Does anyone out there hold an ADR at MK for the 23rd?

I was able to book BOG for May 22nd , but nothing on the 23rd for MK??

The last two years the 24 hour kick off started at 6am on Friday morning and then went to Sat morning at 6am so this just does not make sense?

Plus the last two years you could make ADR's on the 24 hour day at the restaurants during normal hours??

Strange? Has anyone tried to call and ask???

I guess we will have to keep checking. Disney must be planning something for that day????

I have been having the same problem. So strange! I even called Disney, and the cast member I spoke with had no insight.

It is either a glitch affecting only the Magic Kingdom on this one day, or they are blocking that day for a reason. Phone CMs are not going to know the reason. If there is a reason, this board will likely have it before they do.

It has been like that for several days.
I have tried reservations with the 180 + 10 several days ago and no res available in Magic Kingdom.
I called Disney reservations and the agent said nothing showed in her computer. She was unsure why.
She was going to put in a work order.
There must be some event

Glad I'm not the only one. I also could bet BOG for the day before and after but nothing for the 23rd. Crossing my fingers for the 24hr day that would be a fun surprise!
Are all the other restaurants in MK booked up? I haven't tried any other besides BOG

I got BOG also!! Finally they opened up the 23rd!!! Now we will see when they announce the next kick off to summer!!!!!!
