Hey Hugs. I actually was with the Country Bears while they were causing chaos. But it was so much fun (a good kind of chaos).
Oh nuts - I missed you! I didn't notice the CMs, as I had my eyes on those bears! And Brer Bear was hanging with them, too, so even more trouble going on! :)

I must find Scrooge! I am so excited to hear he's going to be there! Do they give out a schedule at all for the character changes? I don't want to miss him or get there when Donald is there and never see Scrooge!

Also, are Chip and Dale around anywhere??

Were Mickey and Minnie under the Judge's Tent?

I saw Scrooge greeting at Donald's Tree Lot (in the back of Fantasyland near the Tea Cups) at least twice during the party, so it seemed he and Donald switched off roughly every half hour or so. I am not sure about any schedule, as I just walked by often to see who was there! Even better, I saw Scrooge greeting in that spot earlier in the day during normal park hours! That was great for me, as I could get a daylight photo of him for my site! So hopefully the upcoming parties will continue to include him! :)

I think Chip and Dale were at the Tomorrowland Dance party, I think inside Comic Rays restaurant. Not sure, though, as I pooped out early from the party! :faint:

Mickey and Minnie were inside the ToonTown Hall of Fame in the same room. :)

Hope you find all your characters! :)

Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2 So, are Chip and Dale not out for meet and greets? Just to dance around, like at MNSSHP? I was really hoping to be able to get a pic with them! If they aren't available during MVMCP, where do they usually hang out during regular MK hours?

AngieBelle, will you be there on the 30th?? That is when we are going, I would love to say hi and get my daughter's photo with you!!! Also, do you know the times they run this show??

Did anyone see Captain Jack Sparrow out?? I know my son would love a pic with him.

HugsforEeyore sorry you weren't feeling well, thanks for the great post though.

I am glad to hear the little ones were up until midnight after a nap, that is what I plan on doing with my three little ones. I was hoping it would work!!!! I think I am more excited than them though

Yes, chip and dale are always out during the daytime and they hang out in front of the camera center all the time. If you snag a rocking chair right there, and sit there long enough, you're sure to see them!

Can someone please comment on the direction of the parade? Last year, it started at the head of Main St and ended in Frontierland. I *thought* someone had posted this year that it was reversed -- begins in Frontierland and runs toward Main St. Thanks!

I thought that the first parade started at one spot and then it reversed for the second parade? OR, i also read somewhere that the early (in the season) parades go one direction (start at main street) and then when you get within a week or so of christmas it comes DOWN main street from frontierland (like you see on tv).

Thanks for the info!!! I'm so sorry you had a headache - I know how that can be! I love your pics of Mickey & Minnie!

Thanks Donna! We watched the first parade last year from Frontierland, and felt that we waited *forever* for it to arrive up from Main St. We decided to try to catch the second parade this year, and it helps to get a sense of which way it runs in order to get a spot that works for us....

We watched the second parade and it ended on Main Street.

In addition to the free cookies and hot cocoa many of the stations also had free packages of apple slices.

All of the ride lines were very short. We walked right on Big Thunder and Splash Mountain - cars in front and behind us were empty.

There is also snow at MGM at the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights. That was as magical as MVMCP.

I asked a CM earlier in the day and he said entry for MVMCP would start at 4:00 but we couldn't go until 6:00 because we had to drop a friend at the airport. Nothing seemed to close down for the transition but I don't think everything remained open after 7:00. (I think the Jungle cruise and hall of presidents were closed - not sure of any others but the map they gave us listed attractions that would be open) Between 7 and 7:30 we were asked to show our wristbands 3 or 4 times by CMs standing in walkways with flashlights and we saw someone w/o a wristband being directed out.

We loved it! It was our first and we definitely will be doing it again in the future. Make sure you get to T'Was the Night early. The shows we packing up quick and they were turning people away. We got a good seat for the stage show along the street. That way after the show, we turned around and the parade came by in about 20 minutes. It worked out really well! It was also pretty crowded at closing, which surprised me. You can only get the MVMCP pin at the Emporium and the store in Frontierland!

For the past couple of years (for both MNSSHP and MVMCP) both parades start in Frontierland and end at Main Street entrance.

Is Cinderella's carriage a photopass spot?

If so, is seeing Snow White at the same spot?

Is it seperate lines?

The line for the carriage was very long at MNSSHP. We're trying to get the Snow Prince's picture. :)

'05 MVMCP night we went to both parades started in Main Street and ended in Frontierland. Maybe it changes from party to party. We were there last year on Thurs 12/1.

We were at the 11/29 party last year, and saw the 2nd parade originate from Main Street. Not sure about the 1st parade, as we were over in Tomorrowland doing rides!

Maybe I'm thinking of MNSSHP but last year there was construction at the train station so there were walls up and that is why for MNSSHP at least they had to start the parades at Frontierland. I don't know why I thought it was both MNSSHP and MVMCP parades but I guess not. I guess the construction wall was gone by the time MVMCP roled around.

FWIW, the second parade at this year's MNSSHP also started from Frontierland.

I guess those parades are what I was thinking of...but I could swear it was MVMCP last year as well. Sorry.

Hey, I was there the same night! I guess I am getting confused with the MNSSHP parades.

the last two years we were there the MVMCP started on Main Street and finished in Frontierland :confused3

Of course we went to the late parade, so maybe the early one goes from Frontierland to MS and the late one does the opposite :scratchin
