This ride hasn't been open that long. This surprises me!

25 April 2003: Pooh rehab

Winnie The Pooh will be down for rehab from Friday, April 25th through June 27th, 2003. Information indicates that the honey pots will be having doors installed for safety reasons and there will POSSIBLY be gates in the loading area. There will most likely be the usual rehab updates: paint, etc.

I remember reading about a year or so ago, a little boy in DL got seriously injured on the ride. :( Wonder if that is part of the reason?

CRUD!! I will be taking my youngest niece June 1-5 (she doesn;t know yet) but her older sister who I took in January said that she will live this ride. This stinks. But, we will still have fun.

Oh no :( I was hoping to see Pooh when I go next month. Oh well, I will have to catch him the next time and I hope that the refurb will help make it a safer ride.

The boy that was hurt at DL was hurt on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. If I remember correctly he tried to get out before the ride was over, as it was pulling into the unloading area. They now have doors on all the cars at that ride, and at the new Pooh ride at DL. They also have gates in the loading areas of both rides like you mentioned. I'm surprised they didn't do this to the MK Pooh sooner when they did RRCS.

Rats! I will miss it then. Thanks for the heads up Colleen

The Pooh ride just opened at DL within the past few weeks.

Well, pooh!

My little guy has been talking about riding Pooh again since our last trip. He'll be disappointed, but there's plenty else to keep him happy. Heck, this is our 3rd trip in a year and there are attractions we haven't even seen yet!
