We ate at Pecos Bills last February and the topping bar was there then but is it STILL thjere??

1) Pickles went away with the condiment bar two years ago.
2) They do not even have them behind the counter as an add-on.

NOTE:
Could have been a cost cutting move.
Could have been that pickles are unhealthy by WDW standards.
You guess.

Yeah, they are just so healthy on their other selections.

I love pickles and hope they bring them back!

what is the World coming to - eliminating PICKLES?

I've always loved pickles - I used to dip a big dill pickle in sugar
When pregnant - it was a good excuse to keep 4 - 5 different kinds of LARGE jars of pickles!


pretty sad when they "dumb down" the menus
and exclude pickles-

at least keep them in the back for when people ask - darn, I'd pay a quarter for a container of pickles

I take the pickles off of my burgers (and my Chick Fil A, I like the residual flavor but HATE warm, mush pickles) and I think this is ridiculous. What is a toppings bar without them? What is a burger without the option? Of course, since all of the C/S places seem to have gone to nasty, stale wheat buns, I won't be getting C/S burgers at all on this trip!
This is America! Free speech, free pickles at the toppings bar...the founding fathers are rolling over in their graves! What would Walt say?

I'm actually kinda happy to hear about this. I hate pickles, including the smell, so visiting the condiment bar has always been kinda for me. They should give you the option of adding them behind-the-counter if you want, though!

Even though I don't like them, far be it for me to deny anyone his or her pickle!

This is a very interesting thread - I always thought pickles were there just to get your fingers messy as you removed them from the burger and put them in the trash!!!

If ever I am at Disney with any of you guys I will willingly let you have my pickle quota!!

Lol! I totally agree. I order my sandwiches without pickles because I don't like the vinegar taste they leave behind.

That. Similarly, The supermarket experience is totally killed for me when I have togo to the olive cart for my husband. I appreciate that he likes the "good" one not from a can. But eeew, gross!!

Yes, the toppings bar was still in place at Pecos Bills last week. I popped into Cosmic Rays and saw a toppings bar, but didn't eat there and couldn't tell you what was on it.

Add me to the list of those who can't eat burgers without pickles! I rarely eat CS burgers though, they generally make me ill, but my DH loves them and we both enjoy the toppings bars at Pecos (our MK fave) and Cosmic Ray's!

I definitely don't think any exclusion of pickles from any CS place would be related to health reasons though...well, I suppose I could be wrong, since they did switch to wheat buns, but really, the sodium content in a few pickles slices hardly compares to that of the fries and other food served!

I was hoping someone could give me an update. We are going in February and I would hate to pack my own pickles!

For more than a year you couldn't get a pickle at Beaches and Cream. However, in the past year they have had them again, including when I ate there on Dec. 6th. Did you ask for a pickle?

They did not have pickles (or much of anything) at Liberty Inn.

No, never had to ask before. We got them last December automatically with the burgers - I was just surprised this year when I didn't. I'll ask next time - thanks for the tip!

i love pickles but wouldn't want them to be sitting out on the counter with the other condiments, as it may not taste so fresh to me, maybe they should add pickles to ur burger when they make them lol
