No parades/fireworks at Epcot week of Feb. 26th?

I have been checking back frequently to the Events section of disneyworld.com, and for the past several weeks they have shown events at all of the parks. But I just checked and now, for the entire week, there is nothing. It says "no parades or fireworks scheduled", for every day, for every park. At this time I am assuming it is a system issue. But, I have sent an email to Disney, and thought I would ask here to see if there was any reason to be concerned .

Epcot no longer has a parade anyway - but they should be running Illuminations nightly. Just keep checking back to see what happens.

anyway the fireworks starts with the park closes generally at 9pm.

I'm going in May and check the park hours/parades/shows schedule every once in awhile. Checked today and there were no parades/fireworks listed for Epcot or MK the whole week I'm there. Now, they showed up last week. So, I would assume (knowing what happens when you do that!!) that they are messing around in there...making some more of those 'subtle' changes we all love so much. The AP site is weird today also.

I also noticed that they took off POC under operational updates. It was saying that POC would close March 4, now it says no new updates (or something along those lines) - it doesn't even mention POC's rehab.

Are you saying that there is no Spectromagic Parade? It was showing up as late as two weeks ago. I have no knowledge myself, just confirming with everyone that this parade no longer ocurrs.

No, Spectromagic isn't at Epcot. It's at the Magic Kingdom. Epcot used to have a parade (Tapestry of Nations), but they stopped running it in early 2003.

I think something is going on with Disney's website, because there doesn't seem to be any parades or fireworks scheduled at the Magic Kingdom or Epcot at all, even in July (when we're giong.) Obviously, this isn't the case. I'm sure they'll fix it later.

I just realized this before seeing your post. I'm keeping all of this "essential" information in a spreadsheet, and I'm afraid I am a victim of the classic cut-and-paste disease. whoops
