So disappointing, it looks like there are are no weeknight fireworks at DL next week when we are there. ...and it's Spring Break! Sad. We won't be there on the weekend.

I have heard that they keep adjusting the schedule as the dates get closer. Just keep checking. I wouldn't worry yet!

In past years, weekday fireworks have been the week before and the week after Easter. Those are the traditional Spring Break weeks for local schools and will draw the highest crowd levels.

Where do you check the firework schedule?

I am there in May and have booked a couple of nights in a place with a firework view from the hotel windows, but if there is no fireworks then I will downgrade and save some $$....

Fireworks in May will be Fri, Sat, and Sun. Disneyland is in a more residential area. Their agreement with the county is weekends/vacation periods for schools/special events, and the pollution control limits them to a specific number of settings a year. They had to go through a lot to get the extra fireworks for the Christmas time.

Fireworks in Anaheim can be heard/seen for many towns away (Fullerton, Norwalk, Downey, Garden Grove) and most residence don't view them as a positive like we do. Imagine trying to get your kids to sleep on a school night with huge booms going off at 930p....

Where do u see no fireworks for next week ? On the Disneyland web site it shows them every night. We too are there Sun- Fri. & plan to see Fantasmic Sunday night at 9:00. We booked at the DLH over the PPH club level specifically because of the later club hours and the firework view from the club lounge. We were planning on watching them one night from Main Street and several nights in the lounge. Is this the week you are referring to the 23-28? We are WDW vets , but first time to DLR. I have never been to WDW when they put up there monthly schedule and change it so drastically. Please let me know where u read this and if u are referring to the same week. We have already made ADR's and planned are days & breaks around evening entertainment.,if this information is correct then I will try and change to the PPH or possibly change room type at the DLH & re arrange are schedule accordingly. Thanks, and yes if this is true completely bummed out-:(

I am downgrading the room for sure. Our days at that hotel are Wed and Thurs.

Where are you looking? I'm looking at the calender now and am showing fireworks each night next week. That is when we will be there.

The Disneyland official calander shows Fireworks running daily from March 21st to April 20th so I have no idea what the problem is here.

That is the calendar I am referring too, and have been making my plans based on that since it was available. I was only questioning it because the thread started with the understanding that there were not fireworks next week. Thank you for clarifying, I have never known the official calendar to be wrong, unless of one night weather or something. I'm sure it's correct and my plans are fine, thanks again-:)

The OP will be there the 17-20th range if I understand her correctly.

That would be this week. She put "next week", so I would assume (as it looks like everyone else has too), that she meant next week. Maybe she will come back and clearify it for us. Either way, it looks like her question was answered. DL is still a wonderful place, with or without fireworks. pixiedust:

Yes it is, we love everything Disney... And sometimes hit WDW during low crowds when entertainment is scarce and park hours short but we know that when we plan. & have a wonderful time always!!!!! I was just concerned cause I planned around the current schedule & made decisions based on that, & thought I might have to change things up this week. I agree after looking at the calendar she was referring to "this week". It's all good! We are so excited to visit DLR for the first time!!! Packing already-:))
