There are lots of DVC discount days. I just got off the phone with MS and they rattled off a number of dates (unfortunately not when we're going, December 18th). The DVC discount days end fairly early in December.

I think maybe the dates weren't selling out last year and that's why they added additional discount dates later on. I had purchased our tickets in May and I got the discount after our date was added to the discount list.

Well if the rates are the same as the Halloween Party, I wouldn't sweat it... There was only a $3 difference between the non-premium tickets and the DVC discount tickets.
