Apologies if I missed this, but I called to renew my AP and they let me know the promotion ended three weeks ago. Now to decide if I still want to renew it or wait. I'm leaning towards still renewing before a price hike happens.

I guess it depends on how often you go. I only go two to three times a year so I pretty much never renew and just buy a new one before a trip or when the three months free offers become available. I activate it when I get there and it can buy me several month between one expiring and starting the new one.

Not sure I'd bank on a three month free this year with Epic is coming - but if they offer it Ill buy it.

I got an AP in early November last year and was in between promotions, so mine expires soon. (Just back back a few days ago from my fall trip) My next trip would be within the 1 year if I renewed, but I am not going to renew. I could possibly go in late October next year, but that would be my only trip so not worth it to me, and I am waiting to hear more about Epic packages.

The best method is to get 2 trips nearly a year apart, then let it lapse for the next year. Rinse & repeat.

Unless you're local or consistently doing more than 2-3 trips a year, it's rarely cost effective to renew.

Yeah - pretty much what I try to do - 1 AP for two HHN trips - and I try to squeeze in Mardi Gras - the three free months does help with HHN trips.

Exactly. Last AP we did, we had it just right where the AP expired the last day of the 2nd HHN trip. This time we got the 15 month deal so our HHN trips are actually just over a year apart. Very seriously considering hitting up late Jan for a last hurrah before the AP lapses.

I am wondering if they didn't do the 15 month due to EPIC. I thought the same thing when I renewed mine last week. I'm holding on to it because I do use it and also in case they do Any kind of deals on EPIC (though I doubt it)

That was my thinking as well. Next trip isn't until early next year, but renewed it before they raise the prices and in case they do anything for Epic (and like you, not holding my breath on that one.)

Yeah - I'm figuring they may have a preview day of some sort - maybe for a fee IDK - probably limited similar to the passholder days

If I had an AP Id probably have to upgrade it to the new one anyway - assuming they offer a new one - and if its a 15 month you usually loose the free months if\when you upgrade it :(

Still maybe there will be a bridge price - so if I see a deal around black Friday Ill probably pick up one.

I've heard rumors that one of the lands is not going as quickly as they others and is delayed - not sure which one - does not seem that way from the videos I've seen

Regardless it would be good for them to start talking about Tickets or at least APs as people are in the boat of having to renew - and most likely Epic being open within the next year of their AP
