I was hoping that I'd get here tonight and find out that this was all just a bad joke. But no, I see that people will still have to wait in line to get a ticket to wait in line.
You guys talk a lot! I might have missed it but is there any sign that Disney will be doing this at other rides?
Exactly. By limiting the amount of people lining up it is going to certainly increase the lines at the other rides around magic kingdom. Better a&e wait but worse everywhere else. Your right, I don't think all those waiting people will spend their time eating and shopping.Nothing other than the site that posted this was about to happen. But then again, not one other site saw this one coming. You can take it for it's worth, but I did see mention of another ride in MK taking this approach and CMS had been trained on how to handle it. It's pretty obvious what that is. If all these people aren't in line for A & E, and taken out of the pool, what will that do to the other attractions (not necessarily headliners)? Surely people don't pay admission to shop...do they?Snorin' and TT would be the icing on the cake.
Does anyone know what time the last printed return time passes where given out for today? I'm just curious what time I would have to get there for one.![]()
Would love to hear from someone who actually did this to see if they scanned your band in order to 1. See if you already had a FP+ for it (in which case did they still give the paper one or not allow it) 2. If the paper ones already given out appear to the cm scanning the bands in order to stop people from circling around and getting 2 passes (or more). 3. Or is it just a free for all and someone is just standing there handing out passes to people in line for one and not checking anything.Someone posted pages ago around 2:00p or 2:30p. Expect that time to move earlier in the day the longer this goes.
I saw a Facebook group post saying someone got a 3:30-4:00 at 9:15am.

I I know you didn't but I think we forget that we who stay onsite are only a percentage of guests. People who show up at the gate and pay premium prices to get in are at a disadvantage how are they to know about pre selection of fastpasses which they cant select anyway. No, never said that, never insinuated that. Never said Disney is never at fault. They are far from perfect. But when it comes to FP+ and on site guests those people do have the opportunity to know what's up. I said that Disney does send multiple mailings to their on site guests telling them all there is to know about FP+ and that those people have no excuse for not knowing about it before they walk through the gates. Disney can not force people to read. All they can do is sent it out. What more do you want them to do?
Glad I have my fastpass plus all set for the last day of my trip.
No matter what Disney does, or how they handle these sorts of things, someone is not going to be happy.
I just like to know the rules, going in.

Isn't that printed in fine print somewhere on the Disney Ticket that I never actually get to hold in my hands, anymore?
Nope, they're routinely booked at 12:01am on your 60 day already by people who's 60 day opened earlier the same week. This whole thing is a mess, it's been brought up many times in this thread, but there are thousands of struggling actresses in the US. Surely there are two out there who can be deemed A&E worthy for a different M&G spot.
It is and online as well. You can still choose to have ticket media printed and sent to you. We still get the plastic tickets from Disney. Of course we don't book as a package.
