No More Rehitching Ceremony!!!

We're still at WDW, but wanted everyone to know they stopped the rehitching ceremony about a month ago (at least that's what we were told today). They will announce your anniversary, gather CMs together and sing, but that's it.

Other than this one glitch, all is going great here!

I guess in this case "a dream our heart makes" won't come true...(tears)

Oh NO !!!!!! We were going next month and I was going to surprise DH. Our 30th wedding anniversary is coming up and I thought this would be a terrific surprise. I'm so disappointed.

Yeah, I was planning to surprise my dh, too, and was really disappointed. So was dh, when he kept asking me what my planned surprise was. . . I had to tell him that the ceremony was no more.

We were rehitched at the Ice Cream Social on August 30, 2004. While we were waiting for our table, I was talking to one of the CM's about the ceremony, I had mentioned friends of ours were coming in Novemember & planning on this. He said something to the affect of he'll look for them. He did not indicate this was going to end anytime soon!

we did it for our 15th wedding anniversary. How sad they stopped it. Will they still give you a certificate? I mean it wasnt' a big huge event. I thought Mickey was going to remarry us but all they did was say some stuff and then we had to kiss to 100 counting by 10's we got a wonderfu certificate.
What a shame!
