No more pictures on 6" cake

I just called to order 2 cakes and was told they no longer as of July 13 put characters on 6" cakes. What a have they done. Anyone hear anything other than that?

There was a thread or two a few weeks back that said that they were going to outsource their cakes through Sara Lee and that there would be no more custom 6" cakes due to this.

When I called to order a cake for Coral Reef last week the CM said we could do the 6" that was Non-Personalized and they would place an edible circle in the middle of the cake the either said "happy birthday" or "happy anniversary".
