No Moderate Rooms Left

I just called to try to move from All Sports to POFQ from Aug 24-30. They had nothing left. They did not have a room in any moderate resort. What do you think the chances are that I can get a room when somebody cancels? Has this ever happened to you?

Online reservations show availability at POFQ for these dates. Are you on a free dining package? If so, those rooms are probably gone. I'm not sure about cancellations. You are within the 45 day window so I bet cancellations are less and less as time goes by. It certainly doesn't hurt to keep trying. Good luck and have a great trip.

wow, i find that hard to believe, esp since they may be re-offering the free dining starting tomorrow! and it makes me nervous 'cause i will be at pofq from 8/25-9/1 and the last thing i want is for the place to be at max capacity! YIKES!

We just recently stayed at a moderate. We were planning to arrive at Disney on Saturday, but we made good time driving. I called in the afternoon on Friday to see if they could add one more night and they were totally booked. I had them check the other moderates and they were full too. We ended up staying in Ocala and only had a short drive the next morning.

Based on the availability we were expecting a packed resort, but it wasn't bad at all. This was over the 4th of July and we hardly saw people. There would be two to three families at the quiet pool and the food court didn't have long lines. Overall, we were very happy.

I just called backed to ask the CM why was it showing availability online and I was just told that there were no rooms. She told me because I was on a package. She asked me to hang on. She was gone for a while. When she came back she told me she got me a room at POFQ. She said she had to go pull a few strings at Guest Services and will not be allowed back in there for a few days.

Isn't it great when CM go above and beyond!!!

I think you will really like it. Don't forget that you can use the pool at POR and be sure to take the boatride to DTD.
