No minivan, renting 2 intermediates

Just a final post, we gave up on a minivan for August. We had the Budget $199, starting on Aug 15th. We arrive Friday the 13th, and we would have to pay almost double to get a minivan for that extra 36 hours. I considered using cabs, and not having a vehicle for that time, returning to pick up the van at midnight Sat, but that gets expensive, too. We have 7 people, and finally managed to get 2 Emerald Aisle intermediates for $184 (total including all fees)each. So for $368, we will have more room and the option of splitting up if we want to......... It is more than we usually pay, but we usually have 6, not 7. With 7, we were concerned about fitting in the minivan with the luggage. We considered using L&M for the 8 passenger van, but that would be almost $100 more, $466. I think it will be fun selecting the 2 cars...

Does anyone know if there will be a problem renting 2 cars under my name, Emerald member? Or does my husband need his own Emerald # and card?

You might check and make sure your auto insurance policy will cover you if you rent 2 cars.
