No magical express papers in the mail?

We have not gotten anything in the mail for the magic express and leave in 2 weeks. Are they going paperless? Has anyone else gotten papers in the mail? We don’t need luggage tags just the confirmation.

They are not currently offering the luggage delivery service, so you might not get anything in the mail. As long as you have your MagicBands, they don't need the letter, anyway.
 
We got ours in the mail on Monday...we leave this Saturday. No luggage tags, just the info sheet with names, flight number, etc.
 

Thanks. I didn't know this either -- the e-mail confirmation hedges a lot, but doesn't actually say they're not doing luggage service. Here's what it actually says (and is the most recent communication I received, 1 month ago):

Disney's Magical Express has resumed operations on June 22, 2020 when Disney Vacation Club Resorts reopened. However, due to COVID-19's impact on our operations, we are not able to guarantee you will receive your confirmation letter and one luggage tag per Guest prior to your arrival. If your confirmation letter and one luggage tag does not arrive in time, you can still enjoy complimentary airport transportation through this magical service. Reservations can be located by name and confirmation number.


I'm fine if they can't do luggage service, I just wish they would communicate better so I knew what to expect.

"Luggage: Guests will be responsible for picking up any of their checked luggage from the airport's baggage claim area so that it can be loaded onto the motorcoach to their Disney resort hotel. Please know that your luggage will travel with you to your resort hotel. Luggage assistance will be available at the front of your hotel, including luggage storage and/or transport to the room."

"Resort airline check in service: At this time, the resort airline check in service is unavailable. Please ensure your luggage is with you and is loaded onto the motorcoach so you can check it in with your airline once you reach the airport."

We're going to miss the resort airline check in service the most! Oh well!

Did you ever get your tags or letter. We leave on Saturday and haven’t gotten anything in the mail yet.

I leave on Monday and haven’t received anything in the mail. I called the ME number yesterday,(866) 599-0951. The ME rep confirmed that they had all my info in the system and that I was all set to go. He also emailed me my ME info. It was a very efficient interaction - took three minutes total.

Even if you don't get your paperwork in the mail before departure, the Disney employe at the entrance to the Magical Express waiting area has a computer where they can lookup your name to verify a reservation. When we went last year, the party in front of us didn't have paperwork or magic bands and had no problems once they found their reservation on their computer.
