Hi Dis Family,

I am going to the World in May and I have purchased the Dinning Plan (1 counter service and 1 table service). I will be going with seven and nine-year old girls. Does anyone have a list of the counter service restaurants (like Casey's in the Magic Kingdom and Yorkshire County in the World Showcase) that do not have a kids menu? During our last visit I realized at those restaurants you get Adult portions for the kids because they do not have a kids menu to pick from.

This helps me because I will be bringing my two-year old son, who will not be on the dinning plan, but can share from the adult-size portions (which may daughters will not finish cuz they eat like birds).

Thanks for your help!!:)

You've about named 'em all. Most places do now have a kid's menu, so it'll be hard to find any more loopholes...since the kid's DDP is so much less expensive than the adult version they're being more careful to insure there are kids portions available virtually everywhere. Like last year they added a kids meal at Pizza Planet in DHS. Your 2 yr old may just have to share your food, or you can always buy some additional side dishes OOP to supplement serving 2 kids meals to 3 kids.

Your 2 year old can share off your adult plate...also people have gotten items that would be appropriate for a 2 year old as desserts (yogurt, fruit, etc.)...if there are 3 of you on the QSDP...you also get 3 snacks/night which can be used to feed the 2 year old.

Also, you might consider using a lot of your TS for buffets/AYCE so that your kids can eat at these and not really have to share.

Thanks for the quick response.
I stumbled onto the Casey's menu last year.
I actually asked for the kids portion...only to be told that there was none! :cool1:
So you know I got excited.

Great tip about the Snack credits. :thumbsup2
I never thought about that.

The dessert choices are also a great idea.

Thanks for sharing.

I'd just buy a side item to go with the extras off their plates. I know my 2 year old would get by eating a side item.

He can probably get by on a side item. I will also bring some applesauce, fruit snacks, cheerios and other muchies too. He's a nibbler....not a big eater.....but he will nibble all day. :)
