It's interesting how so many people have nothing more to add to the discussion than a criticism of other posters who ignored the OP's question and focused on the rest of her post. Only on the disboards is it considered polite to point out when others are not being (your opinion of) polite.
Not in my life they don't. I have been happily married for 28 years to DH. He would never spend a single dollar of money I had put aside. However, my first husband would do things like this -- and that is one of the reasons why is is gone.
OP there are discounts for September the past couple of years have been free dinning but there is not guarantee as the economy gets better I notice Disney offers are less and less. At first dinning include tips, then they took that way, this year some restaurants that were 1 credit became 2, etc.
PP my DH doesn't do that either . I don't think I could deal with that. The way the OP said it make it seem he spend in something for himself that was not needed.
Well after many of these 'helpful' comments, I wonder if the OP will be back.
Hopefully, you will find a discount in September, we made out well going the end of August. My in-laws went the week after labor day and said the crowds were very low.
September is a great time to go. Our favorite. Still pretty hot, though, so be prepared. Minimal crowds makes it worth it. We got a great discount on our room at WL this past September. There was also free dining offered, but the room discount was better. I booked our room in January, so the room rate was out then. Later, much later, free dining was offered. I want to say June. Good luck!
